Perfect for creating sturdy support points for lighting and backdrops on a small stage area, also great for transporting as it takes up very little space in a car or a van.

These are really rock solid stands for FOH speakers. Expensive but well worth it if you care about your equipment.

A huge plus with these stands are the three mounting screw threads in the baseplate so thank you Gravity !
My band now uses one of these threads for supporting the poles for the tops and the second one to support the poles for the lighting truss. Everything we need for a gig (i.e. tops and lighting truss) is now well supported on just two baseplates that take up very little space.

Using a thick metal plate to anchor a light stand... yeah, its bound to be hefty, and it is, but not unwieldy. The handles make for easy...handling (go figure) and there are three different spots to attach the pole. I use a light weight led light bar so I usually put the pole all the way at the back and the park my seat on top of the plate. I consider this unit one of my secret weapons. It allows me to set up light in tight spots in small pubs where they wouldn't normally see a light show. Built to last a lifetime. Super quality. Highly recommend.

Very easy in use, don't take much space and has a very clean look for your lighting solutions. No risk of trumbling over the feet of classical tripods. Very qualitative look&feel. I can only recommand these.

Very cool totems. I already took 4 pieces. My colleagues ask me where to buy them when they see them.

can't fault this in anyway. reassuringly heavy and robust feeling! an excellent product!

I bought the stand to set up the lights or 12" speakers. I like that the new version of base plate have 3 different fixing holes.

Good for light setup. Easy to use and nice view setup.
