Very good build quality and practicality!
I use this stand for my laptop to play ambient music, while me and the band are taking a short brake.
I would recommend this stand for any laptop, as mine is a pretty heavy one (old school 15' ThinkPad) and it's coping with it pretty well.
Pros:
-The build quality is very very good, solid construction! When you tighten the screws, it gives you the feeling that your laptop is going to be fine!
-The looks! I usually mound my laptop at a higher angle with this stand and it looks pretty good!
-The mounting angles. It gives you plenty of options regarding the position. It offers pretty good height and angle adjustment options.
Cons:
Although this is not a big problem, I sometimes have problems setting it up (2 minutes) as the folding mechanism is a bit complicated, but as soon as you've found how to twist it, it's set up in not time.
As in general, the stand is pretty good and cheap for the quality it provides, lots of mounding angles and great looks.

Solid, a great live performer.
I really enjoyed this stand, for a number of reasons:
1. Ease of use: There is no awkward assembling or disassembling of the stand, it comes and stays assembled, folding up quite compactly, perfect for a gig-bag.
2. Rigidity: The construction feels very solid and high quality, which is reassuring as you don't want your €2000+ laptop held up flimsily.
And Most importantly, 3. Stability: The legs at the back extend behind it making for a very stable stand, as opposed to some of the even higher priced competitors.
All in all I'm extremely happy with this product, and I will surely be recommending it to other dj's and producers in future. However watch out as it is quite heavy due to the sturdy metal build, this isn't a problem for me, but may be for frequent fliers.

At last something clever and sturdy
As a mobile DJ, I always found that most lapotop holders were either poorly conceived, impratical/clumsy, or not sturdy enough, ot not stable enough, or taking too much space, too much time to fold/unfold, or too heavy, or difficult to move, etc...
At last I found the right mix of sturdiness, ease of use, adaptability, portability, small footprint and stability I was looking for.
This thing folds and unfolds like a dream, it's very sturdy, takes very little space in my luggage, has a very small footprint, and is incredibly easy to setup.
The stability is very good, but not its strongest point. It depends on how you set the angle(s). It can be very stable in some positions/settings, or it can be not-so-stable in other positions/settings. It's up to you. But it's rather easy to find a good compromise.
Someone somewhere gave a lot of thought to the conception of this little gem. Thanks to him/her. If only such ingenuosity was used in all DJ equipement. My life would be so much easier...

Very sturdy, good for small synths too!
I have used this to hold either my Korg Monologue or my pedalboard (Pedaltrain JR), and it does an amazing job. It's very sturdy and relatively easy too manipulate.

It does what it needs to do
Using it for a while now... (for my prime go and mpc live)
Always packed it securely and that's the key for a great user experience later on. So far no stability problems.
And let's be fair... using a dj console or finger drumming sampler asks for a sturdy stand... this one realy fits the bill (so far)

Wobbly stand
Strong, rigid and very portable when folded but not as stable as expected. The problem is that one leg is shorter just a couple millimeters than the other (that is probably because of the folding mechanism) and this makes it wobble when put on a very flat surface, like a desk. I thought this was a defective unit but when I looked it up it turned out that other users have the same problem. I had to tape an adhesive pad under the shorter leg to make it stable and this is how I use it so far.

In use since 2 years, around 50 times a year,15 inch laptop. Still looks like new,
all in all a good investment and happy I chose this one. Yes, it is a lil bit heavy but that makes it sturdy and stable. The construction makes it fits everywhere , even in very tiny spaces. Very good quality, would buy again.
