Perfect replacement for a Supro Delta King 10
The stock speaker in my Delta King 10 wasn't bad, but I wanted a more focused, clearer sound, reminiscent of old Fenders.
Replaced it with a Jensen C10R initially which I found too harsh in the highs and too mid focused. On top of that it farted out on the lows quickly, especially with tube overdrive. In fact, it sounded like an 8", a bit too Champy -- nothing wrong with that, but not the sound I was after.
The C10Q however fits the bill perfectly. Clear highs but not piercing. Well defined midrange, great with overdrive. And the lows stay well controlled even when pushed. Exactly the sound I was looking for. Now, the Delta King is perfect.
(Or, it would be if it had a tremolo, but that's beside the point ).
In conclusion, great option for that classic American sound -- more SIlverface than Tweed.

Great for classic rock/blues
It's really a great speaker for the price: I had it mounted on a Laney VC15 and I bought another one to upgrade a Orange crush-35RT. It's a mid focused speaker, perfect to cut high pick of a strat/tele guitar in a blues rock set up. I used it also in a classic metal gig and It responded very well to full saturated distortion, really punchy without losing definition and tone (well the Laney VC valve circuit + a DS pedal made it really cracked the mix). I liked it in a open back combo as in a close back one (the Orange) but in a O.B. it gives you the most of performances in my opinion. Made In Italy, it appears sturdy and very well manufactured (it's not a china made and you see it at a fist look).
If you are looking for a Brith or brillant sound, this speaker is not for you, but if you like creamy rock/blues od/ds guitars, it will surely fit your stile...

Good speaker
I was using this in my Vibroverb 63' reissue. The amp was too dark sounding with the original speakers. I bought a pair of these and the amp was now sounding wonderful. Really nice clean sound and not ice-picky at all.

Transformed my simple tweed-sounding amp into a monster.
I have a modded cheap Harley Benton valve amp and tho I love it's mid and high range, it is a bit lacking in bass. This Jensen speaker really brought the best out of my amp, with great clarity and warmth.
For the price I'd be surprised if there were any better speaker.

Laney Cub upgrade
Replaced Celestion Tube 10 with Jensen in my Laney Cub 10. Sound is now much cleaner than before. Celestion was too muddy and sound of this speaker fits the Laney perfectly.

Great for Fender amps!
Love my Fender Super Champ X2 amp as it is a great bedroom practice amp but the sound was a bit muffled with the original speaker. I wanted the clear Fender Deluxe reverb sound and this speaker delivers.

Great replacement for my Fender Frontman 25 R
I recentley bought a Fender Frontman 25 R for rehearsal and the Fender Special Speaker that was in it just sounded aweful, so I decided on a affordable upgrade. The Jensen C10, a legend all kinds of original Fender amps, is a perfect fit for my Frontman! Wow, what a great sound difference! My clean drive is warmer and my gain gets louder without breaking up. Sounds almost like a Fender should, more like their tube amps, not bad for a transister ;) Perfect upgrade for my Frontman or any other 10" 8ohm amp!!

Good buy
I bought this to swap out the stock speaker from a Harley Benton GA15 (now obsolete). for the music I play, which is mostly rockabilly and punk, it works great. It might not be excellent for those who want a heavey metal sound, but for the cleaner stuff it does a good job. For me it was a good upgrade.
