My only string set for rest of my life

If you chasing bright and long lasting tone for your bass La Bella RX-S4D Bass strings are the solution. Also they are cheaper than competitors and packed with air tight bag. So I am buying them a lot one time, using a whole year.

Clarity
Very good packaging! La Bella is my choice for last 13 years and they always provide best string quality

pros
The sound is crystal clear with rich lows and high. Very good for slapping. Tension is middle, not too strong. About long lasting - I can`t not tell precisely, because i play this instrument rare.

Gute Saiten, aber nicht ganz mein Fall

Ich wollte mal was Anderes audprobieren. Das Produktversprechen "produces euphoric low end frequencies" klang einfach zu gut. Der Bass, den ich spiele, besteht komlett aus Ahorn und hat damit einen sehr dichten, mitten- und höhenreichen Sound, daher suchte ich Saiten, die vielleicht etwas sanfter und runder klingen und die Schärfe des Basses etwas abmildern.
Ich muss sagen, für meinen Geschmack übertreffen die Saiten diese Erwartung. Die gewohnte Mittendurchsetzung auch mit Tonregler auf Null fehlt mir bei diesen Saiten leider. Der Sound ist nach meinem Geschmack zu bassig.
Untenrum sind die Saiten wirklich sehr stark und liefern fette Bässe. Wer das mag, wird an den Saiten seine Freude haben. Verarbeitung und Spielgefühl sind Top!
