Excellent for the price ....
Sparky 03.02.2017
When I bought these I got a text saying ... the 1980s called they want their drums back! I took it on the chin .... and pressed ahead. I'm glad I did. In small venues the ability to tune the heads easily between songs adds a definite edge to the overall sound.

The hardware is excellent for light to medium use, it's easy to set up as a 2 or 3 piece set. I play quite lightly as a rule in small to medium sized venues so the Rotos aren't lost in Tom residue from attacking them!

My only complaint (and I was fully prepared for this) was the drum heads, replaced as soon as I could with Remos ... sound difference is definitely appreciable - But as long as you are prepared to do this they are still a lot cheaper than buying a "big name" set.

Overall very impressed especially considering the price.

great build great sound
Anonymous 30.05.2016
putting together was pretty much straight forward, they quite solid and are doing the job they meant to do, already out every weekend gigging with no problems, cant wait until I change the skins, which I guess is the only negative feature which in itself is not a negative, ie: there is always room for improvement, just like any other drum you seek the best skins. As they are, they sound is tight as it is, I must say this is one of the best buys I have made for a long time as regards to additions to my kit, would recommend these to anyone who is seeking rota toms as the price just makes these a perfect choice!

Very nice roto toms
Vincent816 22.07.2013
These are a very nice set of roto toms. You get a very high tone from the smallest drum which is great for reggae beats. The lowest drum can go quite low but too loose and the tone is lost. I prefer the bright sounds when they are tight myself. They can work on full kit or as a percussion instrument to compliment a full kit. The hardware on these drums are pretty strong and they stand very steady. They can be angled in many ways and they can stand very tall so it would fit a variety of kits both big and small. Or they could be stood with other percussion instruments. I am getting great use out of these roto toms with a large range of tones available from them.

Amazing Piece of equipment
Wayne A. 01.09.2014
I use these for a Pink Floyd tribute band and they sound amazing. Even tuning them really low, they've got a great bounce, hold their tuning very well and cut through a very loud band. The heads that come with them are pretty good. I expect they'll last a good 6-8 months (with frequent use) I would recommend these (As they were to me) and I'll buy them again tomorrow. should I need to. I only wish millenium did an add on 12" roto drum. I'm very happy with these, Oh the hardware is really solid too :)

Good for a hobbyist

The metal parts (especially bolts) are not the best quality having as a result stability or even detuning problems if you often use to make adjustments. It is good for a non-professional though due to its reasonable price and the opportunity that gives you this way to explore different sounds and playing.

Millenium Roto-Toms
Julian B.. 28.06.2013
I've always wanted a set of Roto-Toms ever since seeing INXS and VAN HALEN in concert in 1984 ish, now an old man :), aged 44, having recently returned to drumming after an enforced absence( kids eh!, who knew they would take so long to grow up), I purchased this set of MILLENIUM 6,8,10 ROTO TOMS and I am very happy with the construction and quality and over the moon with the sound.

I have to say though that I've replaced the stock heads with REMO CS BLACK DOTS, which make them sing and taken them off the mounting bar and put them onto my rack, which aids ease of placement immensely. 9.95/10

Good and fun rototoms
Andy_ 31.10.2017
The stand is bit roughly finished but does it job - by the time of this review these rototoms have taken some beating and everything has held well. Changed the heads right away to Remo ones, and the sound is good. Have no experience playing more expensive Rototom models.

Excellent value for money
Eric5369 07.02.2014
I bought these roto toms to use on just one song in our set and was expecting them to be poor quality as the price tag was so cheap. I was pleasantly surprised, the stand is really sturdy with quick release clamp. the tom castings are a little rough around the edges but the sound is excellent. I will probably invest in better quality heads as the single ply heads provided will probably not last too long, but overall, this set is excellent value for money.

Love the sound!
richardklima 23.06.2020
As I was searching for toms to make my kit larger (obviously...) I came upon these rototoms and it seemed like a good compromise. I very much always liked their sound (as can be heard on Pink Floyd's Time intro), so I decided to buy them.
They didn't disappoint. I use them as my top three toms and they serve their purpose perfectly.
