Neutrik connectors are simply the best!
I have my kemper mounted in a rack case which I use for touring etc. I have made a custom plate on the back for easy access to the connectors I use. Everything is clearly labelled so I just quickly plugin what I need.
This connector serves 2 purposes! 1) It stops any wear and tear on the main Ethernet connector on the back of the kemper. So if anything went wrong, I could just replace the Neutrik one, and I’m back in business without having to send my whole Kemper away! 2) It allows me to use Neutriks Ethercon Connectors on my pedal board cable. On the Kemper pedal board itself, it has an Ethercon connector, which stops the connector from being pulled out or damaged. So I wanted to do the same thing on my rack version. Which this has allowed me to do.
Fantastic product!

Very nice adaptor, but a bit expensive.
This is a very nice Cat-5 adaptor, but it's a bit expensive if you need to use more than a couple. Be careful, once installed, the rear PCB can be pulled off the external krone housing, severing the solder connections, dropping it to less than gigabit speed, or worse, causing it to fail altogether. Basically, it's a weaker connection on the internal side, were tight internal cabling can pull too much, if there is not much play. Includes self tapping screws (appears to be the only Neutrik connector that includes them).
There are good accessories for this, a external cap door cover, and colour plastic labels.

Excellent for making up rack panels
I have three of these in a rack panel of mixed connectors to allow me to plug rugged Ethercon cables into my other standard rack equipment (like switches etc).
They're really rugged on the front face and made of metal, but I would say be careful not to pull the back off them because the rear connector isn't the strongest.

Easy to use
Very easy way to get a Neutrik connector onto a panel and extend an existing connection or convert it to Neutrik. You simply plug a normal ethernet connector into the back of this one, back to your original connector, and it is now ready for the Neutrik cable. No wiring or soldering needed. Make sure you buy a panel with the correct size cutouts for the mount and it is very easy to screw it into place and the job is done.

Great product
Part of a rack panel hook-up I built. A through connector for rj-45 cables with sockets on both sides. Easy to install and works great. Much quicker and easier to connect stuff and it saves wear and tear on the expensive rack equipment. Highly recommended for it's purpose.
