Great for heavy hitters

I play drums in a heavy rock band and the rhythm section of our music has to hit hard - the Pro Mark TXR2BW are a big part of the sound of my drums. These sticks are rather heavy (naturally so, being 2B sticks) and that is what makes them great for punchy, powerful hits. In between heavy hitting I also do intricate ghost notes and delicate cymbal accents and these sticks allow me to do that with ease too - so they are not meant just for smashing the drums to the max. The quality of these sticks is great and they hold up very good - I think I haven't broken a single one yet despite the constant heavy rim-shots. If you are looking for durable quality sticks for heavy hitting - these are the way to go. Also, if you play lighter sticks, I recommend trying these for practicing on pads - a great way to build stamina.

Évaluation des TXR2BW HICKORY PRO MARK

Tout d'abord, je voudrais parler de leur poids car très maniables à cause de leur légèreté mais également à cause de leur taille, longue et très maniables. Concernant leur maintien en main, facile car un peu rappeuses et tiennent bien en main grâce à leur gros diamètre. Le seul souci avec ces baguettes, c'est la durée d'utilisation car elle se "détruisent" / s'usent vite et ne sont pas plus résistantes qu'une autre paire en S par exemple!

Die Natural Ausführungen von ProMark sind nicht eingeölt oder laminiert, fühlen sich also sehr rau an. Eine für mich interessante und neue Art von Sticks.
Mir persönlich gefällt diese Stickvariante am besten, da das intensive Schwitzen, vor allem bei vielen aufeinander folgenden, längeren Sessions die Sticks 1. nicht ekelhaft aussehen lässt (wat durchaus Geschmackssache ist) und sie 2. noch nach längerem Gebrauch tight in meiner Hand sitzen und nicht herumflutschen.
Die Sticks halten meiner Erfahrung nach lang (etwa 5 Monate, intensiver Gebrauch mehrmals wöchentlich) und fühlen sich trotz der Größe 2B erstaunlich leicht bzw. ausgewogen an.
Klare Empfehlung !

Je joue sur ces baguettes deousi un bout de temps maintenant, hormis le fait que la baguette à tendance à se désagréger à cause du non-vernissage au bout de quelques temps, cette baguette est équilibré et permet un jeu en finesse malgré sont épaisseur.
Aussi la finition Nude est totalement utile pour le maintien.
Un must avec les 5B de la même série.
