Remo Vintage Head for Vintage Kit

I boutht this and others sizes to go on my Ludwig 1976 3 Ply Pro Beat. They changed the tone and produce a very deep mellow tone that is very pleasing on recordings. The snare one is also excellent and good rough coating for Brush work.

I recommend these heads if you're after a nice solid warm Tom sound they are also very tough, and sound better the more you play them...after a while the heads go dark where you strike them which gives the kit that retro jazzy look !

Super Fell, ein Tick besser noch als die normalen Emperor Coated Felle.
Ausgewogener, warmer Sound auf meinen 65er Rogers Set.
Dasselbe war auch auf meinem recht neuen Starclassic B/B zu machen.
Meiner Meinung nach das beste Remo-Tomfell auf dem Markt !

Sehr interessantes zweilagiges Fell von Remo und eine gute Ergänzung zum klassischen Emperor coated. Jetzt könnte man den Zusatz "Vintage" ja für einen Marketing-Gag halten, das Fell klingt aber tatsächlich deutlich anders als die normalen Emperors. Etwas gedämpfter und auch fetter, teils fast in Richtung Pinstripe ... Das ist aber auch das "Problem", ausser dem relativ stumpfen Vintagesound hat das Fell eher wenig Vielseitigkeit zu bieten. Nach einer Weile hatte zumindest ich wieder den Wunsch nach einem etwas frischeren, offenerem Tomsound. Den Kauf bereue ich aber keinesfalls, es gibt sicher mal wieder eine Recording- Situation wo dieser Sound genau das richtige ist.
