Disappointed
Remo had great idea with PS 77 (I do like that number), but this is just hybrid of some existing drumheads (alomost like Powerstroke 4). Also, underlayer ring is glued to top drumhead and it makes precise tuning impossible. Maybe onkly with drumdial or Tunebot. Like Evans Hydraulic, this is thick and dull drumhead which can make happy only heavy hitters. Also, I find Remo has colder sound and not so good coating as others.

Another great product from Remo
Extremely good drum head that gives a warm and punchy tone. Projection is phenomenal and it helps reduce overtones as well if you have a ringy snare. Definitely recommended.

Great attack and focus!
I have used this snare on many of my snares and found it best in brass or steel snare.. a lot of attack!

Durable and good sounding!
The drumhead has a good durable centre as well as thinner head sounding overtones. Highly recommend!

I'm a fan
I'm a fan of the power stroke snare head, because when you hit it with a rimshot, it sounds great.

Perfect for a punchy snare with great attack and few overtones
This snare head is amazing for rock-'n'-roll heavy players, heavy hitters, and those looking for a sharp and fast attack with tone. 10/10!
