The Schilke Symphony series are interesting. Almost all have larger 24 throats and open Schmidt backbores. They feel as though they need a bit of effort to brighten up the sound in louder dynamics but they easily produce a pleasing dark sound in softer 'pp' dynamics.

Die neue Symphony Serie zeichnet sich durch große Bohrung und tiefe Kessel mit weitem Durchmesser aus. Wenn man die zum Klingen bekommt ist das Resultat voll & sinfonisch, es braucht aber einen austrainierten Ansatz, v.a. in der Höhe.
