A great all around microphone
Overall I have to say that I am very pleased with this microphone. While it is true that in this category the choice is great, this microphone is well worth the money.
I have used it for a variety of applications (voice, drums, acoustic guitar) and I was very happy with the results. Personally I think that it's perfect for voice and will do a great job on the rest.
The number one thing I loved about this mic is the lack of noise! Absolutely brilliant! I have been using it with my Focusrite solo and even when I turn the gain up to 3/4, there is no noise!! I was really blown away to find something like this for that price.
Moreover the low cut switch and the pad features were really handy for me when I recorded my Guild (a lot of bass frequencies) and my drum set (pad).
Solid construction overall and I would say that it does not colour the sound.
Highly recommended!

Second time i get this microphone
Amazing price for this price! I had se 2200a ii c for years and now with this one i feel how clear is my voice finally :)) I can feel that this microphone not only can cut through the mix so easily but it sounds so shiny without harshing frequencies. I have tested with my male vocals and its not noisy microphone. The only think that was missing was the low bass frequencies that i had with the se 2200a ii c but the upgrade was really good one! I had worte now you're gone in my spotify Dcoverz with this one :))

Very good sounding microphone
I have had this microphone for a while now and used it on many projects. It worked almost perfectly on everything I threw at it. Wether it was some vocal on acoustic instrument. I say almost, because of this mics "flat tone" output you need at least some kind of processing either hardware in form of some colorful preamp or in software to make it really pop. That is why I removed one star, not because I do not like the mic, but for you to understand what you are getting into with this piece.
Overall. If you want some colorful microphone that is gonna be poppin right out of the box, just go look elsewhere. But if you want a versatile and reliable mic, that you can customise the sound of to your liking and throw it at about any source... well, you sure are in the right place and you are not gonna regret your purchase :)

Very pleased!
Very satisfied with the product. The sound is very clean and the self-noise is non-existent. The highs are crisp, but not harsh (although my voice seems to be highlighted at around 3000hz, which I had to EQ a bit). The mids are smooth and stable, and the lows are easy to control even before EQing with the built-in high-pass.
Speaking of which, the features are very helpful. Not essential, but helpful. Both the pad and the high pass feel good and work as intended.
The microphone itself feels very rugged and has good heft to it. The pop filter works surprisingly well, and I haven't felt like I'd need to replace it. The shock mount is the part where I am a little bit concerned as there are quite a lot of plastic parts in it, but that is totally expected at this price point. I'm sure it will be just fine as long as you handle it carefully.
Overall the SE2200 delivered exactly what I wanted it to. Excellent product, would definitely recommend if you're looking for a great all-purpose LDC at this price range!

Amazing mic, real bargain!
I bought this mic because I needed a decent vocal LDC. Not only it works great for the original purpose, but thanks to the -20db pad I now have a solid "Kick Out" microphone. Pair it with an AKG d112 and you're in business!
Superb build quality and very welcome included accessories (pop filter, mic holder).

I bought this microphone to cover all the new rap recordings I'm working on lately.
I first connected it to the Apollo Twin preamps and the sound was good on average. But then I put a Neve 1073 preamp and the microphone started to shine.
Obviously, it is a Chinese microphone and cannot compete with my German Brauners and my old Neumanns, but it does a very good job when I do not want that complexity and additional details in the sound but I still want the characteristics of a large diaphragm condenser microphone.
Another thing to consider is the very low noise of the microphone.

Excellent mic for the reasonable price
I'm the Voice Over artist. So, i'm in searching of mic of my dream :) Bought a lot of mics on Thomann and tested them. My choice is Neumann TLM 102 but if my budget were less SE 2200 is a very good mic! Slightly more high frequencies than TLM 102.

Good value for money
The quality is relatively heavy, and I have found a lot of brackets. Currently, I choose psa1.
Not very suitable for recording harmonica and guitar, its successor se2300 does not know if it has improved.
Overall it is quite suitable for getting started
