Good once you figure it out.

Hi guys

I bought two banks of LED cans and the switch in a bundle, the switch is quite well made, but like everything you need to look after it.

At first I couldn't figure how to connect the lights to the switch, but you need to go in to settings in the par cans and select " hey" , this was a bit ambiguous and does not feature in the manual for either product.

Ok so you have to get all your lights set to hey, then switch on the lights at the same time and then power on the switch, the lights will then connect and respond to the switch,

If you apply mains power to the banks of LEDs seperately while using the switch, there is no way for the multiple banks to sync up.

So make sure that everything powers up at the same time.

The switch offers basic control of blackouts and sound to light, it's not pink Floyd at wembley but ok for the local bar.

Good luck

Very good and works fine most of the time
Martin2535 17.05.2021
Got this foot switch so I could operate two CLB5 2P LED Bars manually when I downsized my lighting rig to run without DMX.
Mine is a fairly simple system but the LED bars need to set to the right mode before the foot switch will operate correctly. Having said that if you read and understand the instructions it's a simple enough process.
Everything works as it should most of the time apart from the odd occasion when one LED bar misses the signal and then the two bars are out of sync. This is not a massive problem though for me as I'm not expecting perfection from such a small set up. Having said that it would be nice to have a reset button somewhere on the front pannel of the foot switch to be able to rectify this problem.
Another improvement for me would be an indication light above each switch so you could see at a glance which mode was active instead of having to remember.
Also the ability to step backwards (instead of just cycle through the 30 presets) would be very useful too, but for the money I suppose this is acceptable.
All in all it's a good foot switch for the money and comes with a psu so you don't have to use batteries if your set up allows for this.

JC
Kind of useless..
John Chartz 07.07.2023
If you dont use the sound mode, this pedal is kind of useless.. Would be nice if you could put in memory 2 programs and you could switch betwwen of them. I dont want to pass from all the programs when i just want to use 2 of them. Freeze and blackout buttons are really useless.. Would be nice if it has a strombo activate button, as it has the remote control. Very disapointed that i bought this.
