Stairville Bags Are better quality and last longer than most of the others.
Rinaldo U. 26.03.2015
I have loads of equipment bags made by Arriba, Accucase, Gator and my favorite Stairville. These Stairville bags are much better quality than the Arriba (now Accucase) and cheaper, only Gator is close on quality but more expensive.

The material they make the bags from is heavy duty, I have been throwing these around for three years now and they still look like new. The zips are heavy duty and I have not had any issues with jamming or breaking. The bags have piping which strengthens the edges.

Note that the sizes of the Thomann bags are pretty generous and the dimensions they give are more applicabke to the size of the object you can get in one, rather than the exterior size of the bag. This is a top quality product backed by the excellent Thomann Warranty, customer service and money back guarantee.

G
A different use for me..!
Gazbo 24.12.2014
Having recently changed from a van to a Land Rover for my smaller PA work I find that the hard, square boxes I've been using are a hazard to my seating etc and tend to take up too much room.

I bought this bag to house cables and I've just managed to very comfortably put 25x 10m xlr cables in it and I'm going to use the front pouch for smaller connectors etc.

The bag seems pretty damn tough and because it opens up top and front is very handy to grab stuff from.

I've gone for the soft bag approach because sometimes you just need something "squidgy" that gives a little when you need to pack your vehicle to the roof..!

The hard cases I've used up to now are ok for stacking in a van but could well rip my seats or, worse, fly out of a side window that it has just broken.

I believe these cases are really designed for lighting fixtures but I'll be buying more (of various sizes) to accommodate all my cable.. xld, speaker, mains etc.

Only time will tell on durability but they do seem plenty tough to me and a bargain at these prices.

Stairville SB-125 bag
Michael9302 09.12.2013
A very useful bag with a lot of space. It opens in such a way that you can fill it like a box allowing one to fill it to its max capacity. I am able to fit all my current djing lights into it which includes an american audio vertigo tri led mushroom, a big mutli par light and a little laser light along with all the wires of my lights and my speakers. I has cut down the amount of package I have to bring to my djing gigs as I can fit so much inside in it. handy little pouch at the front for other wires etc. The bag is really good quality and one would be confident of the safety of their gear inside in it while travelling. good strong solid handle on it also.

NP
A Very Large Big Bag
Neil P. 02.08.2016
Great bag overall. It may well be bigger than the dimensions quoted. I bought it to take a few different items with nothing in particular in mind. An overflow bag really. Well it has now found it's calling. It just fits my new LD Maui 5 subwoofer and is ideal for carrying it about. The LD bag is not really a bag more a cover. This bag of course closes completely so may be more practical in extreme situations. Also you can sling it over your shoulder which the LD is unable to do. Factor in that it is cheaper too and it's a winner for me. The sub has to go in at an angle if you do decide to buy it and start cursing me! It goes in easily so do not worry. You still have room for the mains cable and some other items in the front pocket if you so choose. I like these Stairville bags and I think if they had a tad more padding they would be close to the best on the market. The zips in particular are double in size and construction compared to most regular zips so they breed a lot more confidence in their everyday use. It's a winner!

J
Pretty good
John456 13.08.2013
Got this with my revo 3 light unit. A very tough bag, that can take a lot of abuse, and has great padding. The arriba case 125 is a little nicer to use (small business card pocket and less stiff) but this seems to have better protection for the light unit. I would recommend this bag.

Stairville bags are a great choice for entry level kit.
DNearney 30.10.2018
Stairville bags are great value for money, and have all the little things you look for after you have had some gear break on you; sturdy handles, velcro and zips, rubber reinforcement on the bottom corners and an extra pocket on the front.
This particular bag is big and spacious; I fit four Stairville LED spotlights in it, with all the DMX cables, clips and power cables that I will ever need. I have had a friend buy one of these after seeing mine, and they say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery!

M
Excellent deal on bag
Michael5544 27.01.2015
So this bag is a lot like the rabge ACCU have been making available which I have a wide range from, but being my first purchase of stairville gear.. This bag is incredible for the price and circumstance that vouchers Thomann have been giving out to the worthy customers has bought this! To say the least for half the price of ACCU's supply for a nothing price it is better made, lethal straps and hard rubber shoulder pad, very good and strong stitching all round. Good quality zips and padding is thicker than any company products within or higher then it's price range. Get the stairville products in gear protection! Thumbs up! ?

A
Very good product, but bigger than mentioned dimensions
Anonymous 23.04.2016
I've measured my material and bought 4 bags Stairville of adapted dimensions. 2 SB-120 & 2 SB-125.
Very good quality and finition for that price but dimensions are much higher than indicated ones.
Announced dimensions for the SB125 are 325*325*355
but i measure INTERNAL dimensions 360*370*380. Furthermore, as the bag is smooth, the material put inside can be slightly bigger.
Same for bag SB120 - but I haven't measured it - same ratio.
At the end of the day, all material I've planned to put in the 4 bags enters into only 2 SB-120...

Conclusion: good to have bigger for the same price ! Problem is that material moves into the bag which is not ok for me.

No life without this
DJ PALA 12.01.2018
I have ordered this to use for my chauvet led swarm 5 fx, but it is a little bit too big for that, so I start using to store cables, power splits, etc. Thanks for it's massive durability, this was the best idea ever. Thanks Thomann!
