Pleasant sound and very light
MeBo 11.10.2021
Seeds shaker, you can use it on your wrist or on your ancle. Sound is very clear, sharp and soft at the same time. It is very gentle for people with sensibility to sound. It is made out of natural seeds so it can get a little messy the first couple of uses as some dust and little bits from the seeds will come out. It is very light (weight). I am very happy with it so far.

CD
great percussion addition
Conor D. 24.01.2014
This terre bracelet is a fantastic purchase.

I brought this bracelet as a bit of fun, thinking it would be amusing to play with.
However on playing with it, i now use it constantly when performing as a solo act.

I use the bracelet on my strumming hand, and it adds a great percussive element to a solo set.

I have also recorded with this bracelet using several different mic's, and i found the sound out of it to be amazing, well worth using for acoustic/minimalist tracks, which might not be suitable for a high hat or ride cymbal, i also find this bracelet to be great to mix in with a shaker, and again, worn on your wrist, both can be recorded at once.

I find it best to take care with this instrument, as i worry the shaker parts themselves could break if treated harshly, but so far i have taken great care and had no problems

Very good instrument

Excellent!

This is a beautiful sounding shaker. I haven't yet used it as a "bracelet", but I'd imagine it would be ideal for any percussion or Cajon player. I have recorded numerous percussive elements using this shaker and it always sounds fantastic. The sound is very traditional and sounds crisp and wooden. I have used it in my studio for a couple of months now and the build quality is excellent, it doesn't seem like it's going to snap or lose it's finish any time soon - in fact it still looks brand new! It's a great shaker to use in contrast with typical plastic or steel percussion, as it certainly has a unique sound. And for the price, it's a great percussive element.

Really cool
Chris van der Linden 23.05.2017
I like it, the sound is very warm and rich. We use it a lot during live shows to add texture that's different from your normal shakers. Also in the studio with a bit of delay to create an interesting one-shot effect or background texture.

A
nice wooden shaker
Anonymous 15.11.2016
Sounds beautiful, warm wooden sound with crispness. it is not very loud, so it is prefect for recording sessions, but it i not so much for live performances.
I rarely use it as bracelet, usually i just hold it in hand and shake it, but i managed to use it as foot bracelet around my ankle!
This product looks fragile, and i'm still not sure about it. When i use it around my ankle it seems like it is going to break, but on the other hand it is not ment to be used on legs.

Goat hoof rattle.
rubbl 07.03.2014
I love this thing, since I have seen a DVD about percussion recordings. Shaking it sounds good, but the best style to use is to roll it in your hands. This causes a really strange water drops effect, like rain in a forset or a small waterfall. Record it in stereo!
The german name for this is: Goat hoof rattle.

Crisp warm sound
Victor5117 21.10.2016
I'm very happy with this purchase. I was looking into a shaker that could be crisp yet warm and this is the right one! They also provide great sizzling when I put them on cymbals, so they are very versatile and solid.
