Volume is dramatically reduced
Bought this to plug an SM58 mic into my looper/stompboxes, but when using the converter the volume is reduced so much that the mic is practically unusable. At first I thought the plug I received was faulty but I already got sent a replacement and it is exactly the same as the first one. Not sure if this is how the plug is supposed to work but needless to say it makes the item useless. Other have claimed that the converter does not reduce the volume at all so I am rather confused here. When plugging it into an audio interface the situation is exactly the same: through XLR everything sounds normal but through this converter the volume is reduced to maybe 10% of the original. Guess I'll return it cause I have no use for it like this.

cheap and very high quality
I needed this connection for my Mic and it was so cheap. where else would you get high quality at affordable prices? only at Thomann, Thanks guys keep up the great work.

not that good, have 4 of these, terrible quality, doesn't last. the screw holding together came loose on all of them, resulting to bad signals.
The adapter is also very thick, which means in many cases they cannot be used side by side ex. on mixing desks inputs/outputs

sssnake 1682 Adapter
It very well built, decent connector. YOu'll never loose signal or have noize from this. I believe that it could be used in studio too, not only in live shows.

Does exactly what it needs to do! The adapter is stable and has a good build quality, I got this for putting vocals through effects pedals and also to generally make my small lead collection more versatile.
