Excellent Case
Anonymous 15.11.2016
This is exactly what I needed. Its a really solid build, I have no worries stacking stuff on it, putting it in the van, sliding it in between a few speakers....its a rock. The clips and hinges are all great. Its a bit heavy when full and you'll need a bit of strenght if your not too tall to keep it off the ground when walking...but who cares...park closer to the door.

I have a 21", 20", 18", 16", 14"HH, 18" China, 15". I put my splashes down the bottom off the internal spine...and just be a bit careful with how I lay the case etc etc...Fits them all...Or I pick and choose what cymbals I need for a night and throw them all on the spine. No bother.

Would def recommend

Quality Protection
David9361 09.05.2016
Although my cymbal case was listed as a week or two before supply it did in fact arrive nice and quickly, within a few days. Bravo Thomann!

The case is well made with quality materials and offers the right kind of protection for flights and touring. The case latches have a loop for padlocks which helps to guard against people tampering with the contents.

I will have to make and use some plastic liners between each of my cymbals. It would have been excellent if a pack of these were supplied with the case.

Too heavy
Joeken 28.03.2020
Carrying this thing empty is a struggle. I would only recommend this if you're bringing your cymbals on a plane. Otherwise there IS NO NEED. I regret my choice. Saying that, it is well designed and sturdy... So if that's what you're looking for, go for it

This fits a 24inch cymbal
gidoguy 01.06.2020
Great case, however if you are expecting to carry this across town, get something else, its super heavy once loaded.

Also fits a 24 inch cymbal flipped upside down.

Tought little case.
MPullin 11.01.2022
I've carried this on tour all over the world. It's been battered by airport luggage handlers and even lost in Chicago, but it made its way back to me and It still works!
The centre spindle is the only weak part... It's a little bent after many trips, so it could do with a heavier gauge thread. Apart from that, it has served me very well.

The best cymbal case
MattJones 04.03.2020
I've had all kinds of cymbal case. Hard plastic, softcases. You name it I've used it. This is the only cymbal case I'd be happy recommending. Solid and indestructable.

Sturdy as heck
Anonymous 11.06.2015
But it gets reaaaally heavy when loaded with cymbals. So if this case wants a five star-rating, it should really grow some wheels to make it easier to move around.

Other than that - no problems!

Thon Cymbal Case 22"

I have two of these and they are rock solid and protect my cymbals from the rigours of travelling and gigging. Great quality and worth the protection for your cymbals.

Great sturdy cymbal case
Staffan81 09.01.2015
This cymbal case is one of my best buys ever. This box seems indestructible and is perfect for fly-in gigs were you need to check in your cymbals for the flight. the cymbals are locked tight with a wingnut and will not move. My tip is to make some round fabric pieces to put in-between the cymbals to prevent scratching of the surface. Lock the case with a pair of padlocks for extra security during storage or flights. Might be a bit heavy, but just under 21 kg with hihat, ride, china and two crashes (ok for flight without paying extra).
