Dub & Reggae perfection
themindseye 24.03.2021
I am a Muse, Pendulum, Royalblood fan and also Reggae fanatic.
I have the strings on my Fender all black pj bass and they look amazing.
They are very easy to play, They feel very slick and no discomfort no matter how long you play for.
For Reggae dub they are perfect, they produce that really low tone with zero sustain which is perfect for reggae.
Using effects such as plasma pedal for Muse, pedulum, royalblood really shows off the dynamics of these strings, I love them and will only use these strings from now on.
The only con for me was out of the 4 strings, one wasn't black it had obviously missed the dipping process so I am ordering more.
The price is amazing and I recommend.

Amazing strings
And.rew 11.06.2021
I have bought these strings for my acoustic bass and they are simply amazing. The sound and the feeling under the fingers are incredible.
One recommendation I would give to whoever wants to buy these strings is to check the room underneath the bridge pins before the purchase. These srtings are larger in gauge with respect to the standard acoustic bass set, therefore the pins might struggle to stay in place and it might be difficult (if not impossible) to install the strings.

I'm very disappointed
Eloi Beaulieu 26.06.2023
I thought I could have an awesome thumpy Paul McCartney-like tone on my semi-hollow but nah... The E and the A strings barely made sounds. It was even more quieter than on my solid body basses... And plugged in, master on full the volume was 6x lower on the E string than the G. I've tried to lower it, raise it, change the pickup heights, the bridge piece place, etc but nothing changes and no matter how these elements were placed, my flatwounds were 4x better!! I'm not sure if I just got unlucky to get a set of not working ones but they are barely useful at this point.
