"Two" tricky pony

This thing is small, I can put it everywhere in the pedalboard. It's a really good pedal. It has got 2 or 3 usable sounds (unless you do strange things). So there isn't much to tweak. I like it with vol at 9-10, and wave fully CC. Very classy smooth fuzz sound.

Oh I've got even the mastotron and the fat fuzz factory. The FFF is a different beast, that I love. The mastotron it's actually quite similar...more tweakable (the tone and the switch could make the deal), BUT the sound of the fuzzolo has got something better, I couldn't get the same identical sounds from these 2. The mastotron has the switch, but the fuzzolo has more midlow frequency, and it's smoother.
Finally, it's much compressed, you have to set the amp eq / booster eq well focused to sit in the mix. On the other hand you have infinite sustain.

PRO: handling, a pair of really good sounds, size. Quiet. Smooth sustain.
CONS: not tweakable, much compressed, doesn't behaves good after a buffer (as each zvex fuzz).

Pack a punch with a little beast

If you are looking for a gritty, dirty, sculpting 8 bit sounding fuzz, look no further.
Z. Vex are intent on keeping everyone happy at a great price.
Easy to use and very quick at finding what you looking for. The knobs actually do something when you turn them.
I use it mainly for rhythm on Dtuned guitars. Just make sure you feed them through valve amps ;-)

Velcro Fuzz tones

'cause it's small form factor it's ideal on your board for more pedals.
But don't let the size foul you! it packs a punch. not only for bass but also for guitar. I lend it to my bassplayer and he went and bought an other one!

PT
Unique fuzz pedal
Peter Tamas 05.10.2015
this pedal is very different than most fuzz pedals. it has a "pulse width" knob which works like a gate. if you turn it up the pedal cuts the signal below the level you adjust with the pulse width knob.
very aggressive!
