Interesting and versatile

A bit out there compared to more traditional basspedals (like dist. or chorus) but still very useable. Basically like a octaver, fuzz and auto-wah all in one. 100% analog and sweet sounding. Great for creating cool vintage synth sounds from slow sweeps to more Mario type things. The attack delay allows for a faux bowed sound.

Fair warning, this pedal is analog which means its monophonic, so it will only track one note at the time. But playing around with the glitches of it trying to track two different notes can create some pretty cool sounds.

The pedal arrives with two sheets showing different "pre-sets". These are a good starting point, as there is a little bit of a learning curve for this pedal.

Even thou it is a bit on the pricey side i haven't regretted buying mine once since it arrived, and if it broke i would probably buy another one (i love them analog sounds). Usable for anything from a bottom end boost to crazy distorted synth sweeps. 5/5

This is a quite old design and it is noticable.
I'm a little disappointed in the octave region of the pedal. The octave down is decent but the ocatave up is rather weak. Square wave is excellent however.
There are also some problems with the tracking when playing notes to hard resulting in the signal is being cut. Properly muting string when not playing and between notes eliminates almost entierly.
If you are looking for a pedal that does octaves there are better alternatives. EHX's newer POG and HOG pedals comes to mind.
The filter section is what makes this pedal shine. It's not very interesting by itself but when combines with the square wave and some octave down some really nice synth sounds.
I yet to find a use for it in a song however.

Como sabrán la mayoría de los que llegan aquí, es uno de los pedales synth más recomendados para bajo y por algo será. Es muy completo y la estética clásica y el hecho de ser analógico ayudan bastante a dicha reputación. Eso sí, para sacarle partido hay que estar horas con el, experimentar mucho, ya que sus posibilidades son enormes. En el manual te trae un par de configuraciones para empezar, personalmente algunas convencen más que otras. También se sirve con el enchufe de 9v de EH el de 12,40? en la misma caja.
En fin, si tienes un bajo, te gustan los synth y sobre todo te gusta experimentar y buscar nuevos sonidos es altamente recomendable.
Para que te hagas una idea, yo ahora mismo con la ayuda de un looper me estoy montando rollos drone/noise muy interesantes, es que repito, el límite lo pone tu imaginación.
La sección de "square wave" te puede servir como una distorsión rollo industrial metal/rock que va muy bien en esos estilos, ya que tiene ese toque artificial de synth.
El sub octaver y octaver que trae decir que es monofónico, esto significa que si te da por hacer acordes de 2 o más notas simultaneamente el pedal se volverá loco, en cambio si lo usas arpegiado, es decir, nota a nota, una a una funciona correctamente con un buen tono.
Por lo tanto te puede servir como un octavador monofónico y distorsión improvisada bastante buena.
La construcción dura y fiable, típico en EH, es True Bypass y para mi gusto esteticamente muy bonito.
