Perfect for me
I am an beginner, I have no clue about guitars and I am a poor student... So spending more money with the hope of no need to change strings regularly was an idea.
Now after two months, I am happy that they still sound nearly the same as before.
I live in a very humid environment, we have phases where our humidity is up-to 80%. Over the two months I own them they didn't rust at all.
I recommend them to anyone who has sweaty hands, high humidity environment or just wants long living strings.

Durable and nice feel
First time buying coated strings, it feels smooth to play on, especially when sliding. I also wanted to try a lighter gauge on acoustic - but I would go one step up the next time, high string feels a bit too weak.
Had the strings on the guitar for >2 months now, not playing regularly but still the strings show almost no sign of ageing.

Cordes parfaites
J'avais déjà testé plusieurs fois des cordes elixir sur électrique et je me demandais si la qualité serait similaire pour acoustique.

Super son, excellente durée de vie. Je préfère de très loin acheter ces cordes 2 ou 3 fois par ans plutôt qu'un paquet d'ernie ball chaque mois.
La qualité est imbattable.

Very good!
This is the 4th time I buy strings from this brand, and the set is always enough for more than a year. In this case, the sound becomes quite saturated, only the strings are oxidized and begin to "stick" with various playing techniques. For comparison: I play every day for about an hour.

The Best Stings Money Can buy
Everyone says they're expensive, they are, but they break so infrequently and maintain their tone so well they are more than worth the money. I did a 3 month tour and took 3 packets of strings, I finished the tour with the same strings on it.

Acoustic time
I use custom light on my acoustic because it is easier to craft music without extra tension from 12s or 13s. Elixir deliver clarity and resonance on 11s that make you believe you play with 12s.

Right out of the box they sound just like new uncoated strings, they have that zingy sound.
After 1 week they unfortunately lose the zing a bit but even after half a year they still don't sound "dead" like uncoated strings do. They still have lots of harmonics and sound nice and bright, just no zing.
Some people actually don't like zing so these strings would be perfect for them. I personally like zing, but I still think these strings are worth it as they will never go completely dead. I've been using the same strings for 6 months and don't plan on changing them.

Tone that lasts
Great strings that last for a really long time. If you are like me and you want a clear-new sound without having to buy-change your strings every 1-2 months this is a perfect choice. You'll notice the price is higher than most but you get what you pay. My suggestion: Elixir is far better than any string I used but I suggest you choose between their products. Maybe Bronze is your type. This one is a bit less "metallic" which I really like.
