Breathed new life into my Takemine
I've tried Elixer strings on both electric and acoustic in the past. On electric, I've never been fond of the feel. To me they're a combination of a little too tight and a little slippery under my fingers. On 6 string acoustic they're okay but a little too bright sounding for my taste. However, when it comes to 12 string (I only use mine for around 10-20% of a standard acoustic gig) I see them as excellent value for money. I have little patience for changing strings on my 12 string Takemine so like to do it far less than I would on my Martin D28.
These keep a nice bright consistent sound for a long time and aren't too easy to break. I'm a pretty heavy hitter as a player and using them on 6 string is impractical to me due to the higher cost of Elixer strings.
This is a nice gauge also. Slightly lighter than the last set I used (Martin) which makes certain things more comfortable to play on 12 string.
Will definitely buy again!

The only strings I use on 12-string
if you like elixir strings you know you'll want these for your 12-string.
I sweat a lot and non-coated strings tend to last me about a week tops, but elixirs always last me months(even though I choose to change them quite often still)
They keep their bright tone til the end, wonderful strings and I cant recommend them enough! Excellent!

Awesome
I bought these strings for my 12 string acoustic about 6 weeks ago, they are still going strong now. They are still bright and have great tone. I always use Elixir strings on my guitars as I find they are the only strings that hold the tone and do not rust. They are definitely worth that little bit extra money.

The best i have used at the time of writing this review
Long lasting, great sounding strings that have a good feel. You get what you pay for with these strings. On a high-end Ibanez 12-er that i used thrice a week, the strings had oodles of tone for much longer than any of the previous strings that i had used. They hold tune well and do not get affected as easily by the elements or the weather. Worth every penny.

Nanoweb Strings
Having a good twelve string guitar is awesome! Right up until the time when you have to restring the thing! Especially (as with mine) if it is a slothead? ANYTHING that means I can go longer between pit stops is welcome.
These strings REALLY do last a lot longer than any other brand I?ve tried. The sound they give does not seem to change over time, they are very consistent. I?ve never snapped one either!
The sound is excellent, they are not as bright as some other brands can be, but this is not necessarily a terrible thing. Overall they provide a well-balanced tone, and a very comfortable playing experience.
The protective coating on these strings seems to have improved compared to the earlier iterations of Elixir strings, the coating no longer seems to ?peel? in the way it used to.
More playing, less restringing! This can only be a good thing.

Really good strings
I've been touring playing 4 to 5 nights a week, and I was constantly changing my strings, I use a 12 string acoustic, so changing my strings that often was a nightmare, until I discovered Elixir strings, these are a bit more expensive than a regular good set of strings, but they are cheaper in the long run, because they last much longer, and hold their tone. and they saved me changing my strings 60% of the time. They are well worth the price.

Usual Elixir high standard.
The coating on elixir strings means they outlast most standard non coated strings. Sound is excellent and the light gauge means it is easier to fret chords.

Excellent strings
I bought these for a Yahama 12 after trying nanowebs on my son's acoustic.
Stringing up presented no problems and they settled down very quickly. The sound is bright but not overly so and they suited the Yamaha very nicely.
They are still bright and have been on for a long time now. There is still no problem with tuning them.
I will be sticking with this make and type of strings for this guitar.
Highly recommended.

Elixir 12 string
Best strings in my opinion for acoustic 12 string guitars... I use them on Ibanez EW2012AS. Durable, quality, sound like new after many time, comfort to play... Recommend! 5 stars for this product!
