Mackie CR5-X

Replaced them with my old 5.1 system. Generally satisfied. Delivered to Russia within 2 weeks. It took a long time to clear customs. Everything came intact, thanks to the store, well packed. I use both multimedia and for my amateur musical tasks.

+ appearance, everything is neatly done, the detail and brightness of the sound is noticeable in comparison with my old speakers, it was important for me to have a volume / power knob on the front, there is a speaker stand included (you can tilt the speakers a little if necessary), a cool feature with a switch left/right column selection.
- there is a slight hiss from the included speakers. I don’t know if all the speakers in this price range have this. I looked at the reviews, some complain. Perhaps the problem is in the home electrical wiring, or in a balanced / unbalanced connection.

Заменил ими свою старую 5.1 систему. В целом доволен. В РФ доставили в течении 2-х недель. Очень долго было таможенное оформление. Все пришло в целости, спасибо магазину , хорошо упаковали. Использую как мультимедиа, так и для своих любительских музыкальных задач.

+ внешний вид, все аккуратно сделано, детализация и яркость звука заметна в сравнении с моими старыми колонками, мне было важно наличие ручки громкости/включения спереди, есть в комплекте подставки под колонки (можно немного наклонить колонки, если нужно), крутая фишка с переключателем выбора левой/правой колонки.
- есть небольшое шипение от включенных колонок. не знаю во всех ли колонках этого ценового диапазона присутствует такое. смотрел отзывы, некоторые жалуются. Возможно проблема в домашней электро проводке, или в балансном/небалансном подключении.

Really cannot fault these monitors, recently upgraded from the older CR3's to the new CR5-X's. These are most certainly larger so make sure you have the space on your desk!

Pros:
Modern Design
The dial has a click on function
Does not seem to overheat like the old CR3's
Audio is crisp and clean
The LED logo is a nice touch, not blinding

Con's:
Does not support XLR inputs/outputs

First of all. This is not a studio monitor. Yes you can use it for production, and you can get a good results, I think one of the best on this price range, but if you want to take it serious, save more money.
To listening music or check your creation how it sounds like yes. 100% reccommend.
Well balanced sound,enough high, nice mids, good strong punchy bass.
I use it for listening vinyl records and its insane. I cant wait to get my tube preamp to push theese speakers to another level.

Acheter pour enregistrer des maquettes et quelques compos , je suis bassiste amateur. j'utilise Logic Pro avec une carte son Roland ( quadcapture) et jusqu'a présent des enceintes Alesis elevate 5" qui avaient du mal à encaisser les graves .... donc gros soucis pour moi.Depuis l'achat de ses petites Mackie grosse déception quand j'ai réécouter mes compos ; j'étais à la ramasse avec mes anciennes enceintes , depuis je redécouvre après un petit rodage tout mon travail et je peux aisément corriger les petits défauts . Les enceintes encaissent très bien les graves , très bonne définition des médiums , qualité de fabrication impeccable bref je suis ravis de mon achat.
