Good budget DMX cables.
These cables do the job and transmission occurs without errors.
The cable itself is of reasonable quality with foil and braid shields. The soldering of the connector looks clean and tidy and pins 2 & 3 have heatshrink over the soldering points which shows an attention to detail beyond their budget price.
The only issue is the connectors - namely because they are in line with the budget pricing - at this price point it would be unreasonable expect Neutrik which (each) cost almost as much as this entire product.
So the places the connector is less than great - the screw thread for the cover can get damaged - the connector is in the usual two parts - the main body is metal, and the rest of it is metal with a flexible rubber strain relief. This means the screw thread is not plastic to metal but metal to metal - this can be where issues can arise. Additionally the strain relief just ends in a hole rather than a more supportive "boot".
That said - you can't expect more for the price and in practice it doesnt make much difference - if you are using the cable such that the strain relief or connector is an issue you may need to look at another product - if you are more conservative with your use and do not abuse you cables then these will work very well for you and will quite happily gig without failure.
At the price they are an absolute bargain.

Goed en degelijk
Kabel doet waar hij voor gemaakt is. Tijdje geleden aangeschaft. Maar alles wat nieuw is werkt meestal wel. Kabel reeds tijdje geleden gekocht en heeft al wat dienst gedaan ondertussen. Tot op heden nog geen enkel probleem mee gehad. Een aanrader dus.

Nice and compact
We use these cables in our mobile lighting setup.
It's smaller crossection makes them easy to adjust and strap to our stands, and all black blends in nicely with the rest of the rig.

Great Cable, Great Price!
Only got one of these cables as its only used for patch our lighting desk to the wall patch then off to the buffer then to the rig!
Very good quality cable with a strong connector, could see this cable lasting for years, no problems with it, all round great cable!!
Worth a buy defiantly, i plan to get more as they are very handy to have when patching a desk or when you have lights that are close together and do not want to use a 3m cable!!

It's alright
It's a generally decent DMX cable however the female connector's insulating O-Ring can become tangled up and make it difficult to plug/unplug the male connector. Otherwise, it is solid.

The male connector didn't fit in the socket, so Thomann are sending me another. Great customer service from Thomann.
But regarding the cable, the connectors seem a little bit loose when connected to the socket, not the best quality. They'll last as long as they last, and all that said, they are cheap and they do the job.
