Pyramid Nickel Classics JHI 010-038

Because of the logistic issues of certain JH labelled american string sets I read some very good reviews about these Pyramid JHI string sets, so I ordered 3 sets at Thomann’s, who sent them so fast that they arrived at Sylvester.

I unpacked a set and put them on Tweety, that is my Micawber Hot Rod Telecaster which let my eardrums tweet everytime I switch on my Mesa Boogie Nomad.

After carefully following the instruction to bend in an 90 degree angle before cutting every wound string, I spun my Spinning Wheel with the new German wool.

The result was really flabbergasting!
The strings were almost directly in tune.
The resonance on my big Tele body was remarkable.
The time that the low E string kept on buzzing after picking it seemed almost eternal!
The Jimi sounds the strings produce on my Telecaster are amaaaayzing, even better than the American Jimi strings on my Jimi stratocaster.

My adviise therefore to you all good guitar players; buy these Pyramid JHI’s. !!

For this few euro’s they are the closest thing to Jimi Heaven available.
And Thomann has this super duper German product in stock, so no waiting 4 or 5 monts waiting for the American equivalent!
