Limited functionality
I bought this to use with the CLB4 bar system. It does not work well. First dimming: I expected that the dimming function would work with any program or preset. It doesn't. When you press dimming you get a full brightness white light and then you can need to select either R,G or B to dim that element. When you select another function or program it goes back to full brightness on all elements. You can select a solid colour from a program but you can't go back to the programs. The system appears to latch into some modes that you can't get out of with the remote. You have to connect the footswitch and use both! Not a good system. Disappointing.

great for the basics (but only for the newer fixtures)
For basic wireless control this is great
I've used this with my Stairville 240/8 led bar at small gigs and for basic operation its pretty great.
Things to be aware of:
- its infrared, so requires line of sight. If a band member or instrument is in the way you will lose control
- doesn't work with the older model of 240/8 led bar (the old and new have different print on the side of the unit, so if you're not sure compare your unit with the pictures on the website. If you have one master and one or more slave units then only the master has to be the newer type.

More Useful Than Expected!
I purchased this item with the 16 x 8 watt LED brick, thinking it might be useful for the odd thing. Since they arrived I quickly saw the potential. I often light stages for speakers/talks and now I don't need to use a dmx controller and leads at all for this. Small, convenient, and a lot more useful than you expect, I am finding it so much more useful than expected. Always amazed at the delivery times from Germany! Long time Thomann customer.

Waste of time and money and now I have to return it and buy something else
I no longer had the footswitch for my Stairville Stage Tri-LED bundle complete & had planned on buying a replacement footswitch. On checking on the Thomann site, I saw that the IP bar IR remote was cited as working with my lighting bundle. I went ahead & bought it, only to find that NOTHING worked & there was no user guide anywhere to help. And of course I cannot get in touch with the service section by phone until too late for yet another gig with no lighting control. I am expecting to pay postage to return as well as paying postage again when I buy the footswitch. I just hope THAT works. Thomann have always been so helpful in the past, so I dont know what has changed.

Remote control of lights
Does what you expect.
Depending on your light location you can control more than one light at the same time which is quite useful.
It’s possible to access all the features from this little device so I thoroughly recommend getting this if you have the lights that work with this remote.

Très utile et fonctionne avec la marques Fun generation entre autres.
Evite les manipulations manuelles peu pratiques si on a pas de console DMX.

Very easy to use, Simple product
I bought this to use with Stairville CLB2.4 Compact LED Par System, very easy to use and i have had it for 8 months now with daily use and haven't had to change the batteries yet!

Colours are Slightly Misleading
Nice handy remote that was used in conjunction with the Stairville 2.4 lights. The remote is perfect for controlling the lights and running through the programs and even for setting up static colours. My only complaint is that the colours on the remote are not available on the lights themselves. I think this is because a generic remote has been used to cover multiple devices. Overall it is good for the money.
