Surprisingly good for cymbals too
This is good stuff, but is a bit of a tamagochi as it needs constant care. The damper is prone to bouncing off the head and sliding out of the rim. If you have rim damper rubbers too, you can install this tom damper underneath so the rim damper holds it in place.
I'm using some of this on my cymbals as well as they make an even better job on them.

Excellent dampeners!
I am so glad that these dampeners exist. I can play without disturbing my neighbours now. They do their job and well! The drums are really quiet. I am very happy and highly recommend these dampeners! Perhaps, the only thing that Evans could have added was a plastic (hard) material on the surface that would help with stick rebound. But, other than that, these dampeners are perfect!
