No color temperature adjustment
This lamp does not have white balance adjustment switch like 3000K / 6000K. It always works at 6000K: this is basically day-light color temperature, which suits greatly for offices / work environment.
Most of in-house light bulbs nowadays are made to be working at cozier warmer spectrum of approximately 3000K, so if you are buying a lamp for home environment - better get another one.

Excellent lamp
This is a sturdy and good quality lamp.
You can use it plugged in with a cord or with just batteries.
Be aware that if you use batteries the light will slowly dim down long before the batteries are dead.
I would prefer a sudden “death” of light instead of the gradual fade out as the light soon gets too weak for me.
I therefore use it plugged in all the time for maximum light.
It’s a small hassle as you have to be careful not to stumble in the cord, it limits where you can practice since you must sit near a power outlet, and, since I have a robot vacuum cleaner, I have to remove the cord after every practice so the robot doesn’t get entangled.
I have a music stand with a solid K&M walnut plate and it is very easy to fasten and relocate the lamp to the plate with the attachment clip.
The plate is also tall enough for the sheet music to go clear of the clip.
The clip will also stay secured on the more common metal mobile music stands that most kids use. But be aware that since they are fairly light and unstable you get an added weight on top that will further increase the instability of the music stand.
You will also only be able to have two music sheets on the stand at a time since the mid section will be occupied by the lamp clip.
All in all I am very happy with the lamp.

Nice and bright
Covers two A4 pages with good lighting. Mains or battery. Same power.
Tried many light before. This is the best I have had. It has an adjustable on/off and brightness control rotary knob. I have a metal music stand,so I fitted a small chunk of wood about 15mm onto the back of the stand plate where the clamp fits to provide a much firmer grip. Works great!

Bright lamp.
Bright enough. Can be used both with USB charger and batteries. Quality is excellent.
My only complaint is that it has only one color (temperature) – white. It will be geat to change color of light to yellow when practicing before bed.

K & M 12295 MKII
This stand light gives excellent coverage and light output for large or double-spread music pages. The colour temperature is warmer than many stand lights, and is very much my preference. Works well with a Lithium powerbank.

Very bright light or you can dim it for more intimate/backround shows It's big, so you can se a lot of sheet. Great use on batteries also
Only con is that switch is quite big and it's usually in the middle of musical stand, so placing of sheets can be disturbed

Worked for a few weeks and then stopped lighting.
Worked for a few weeks and then stopped lighting. Otherwise a nice lamp. I can't add anything else - the working time was too short.
