Lovely instrument, worth its price
Anonymous 20.05.2016
I am a drummer, not a percussionist, but I do occasionally play bongos in unplugged settings. For many years I played a set of old Meinl Headliners - not bad, but one of the shells cracked with age.
Then I bought these - a fantastic instrument, a wholly different class.
Pros: sound, workmanship, construction, materials, light weight, comfortable and easy to play.
Cons: very slippery lacquer finish which makes it a little difficult to grab them with the knees/thighs, especially with some fabrics of trousers.
Overall I'm very glad with this purchase and, as always, Thomann service was absolutely great.

First of all, these Bongo's look amazing, and sound brilliant, very traditional.

The only downside is that like most drums and percussion, they come with stock heads on them, these either won't last long or won't give you the projection you want, so you will end up having to splash on out on new heads, and these will be expensive.

Apart from that, a great pair of bongos.

beau, robuste, et quelle sonorité...
Anonymous 25.11.2016
Question rapport qualité prix, un seul conseil, foncez!
