the best microphone stand ever
This is the best microphone stand ever! I came from a superheavy superlux stand, which broke immediately after getting it. Then, thanks to Thomann's efficiency I could replace it with this wounderful Manfrotto stand. It's light, robust, solid, very high (3,66meters!) and also easy to carry (when folded it becomes very small).
I use it in combination with the Manfrotto T-bar, but I can also use the previously bought bars, they are all compatible. Another great feature is the air cushions, when you unscrew the stand it doesn't fall down, but there is an air buffer that pulls down gently the microphones.
I use this fantastic stand to make ambiance recordings, classical music, and it's very flexible in all type of situations. I can just recommend this as being the best microphone stand ever!

Manfrotto exemplifies quality values over all else
I've worked with a lot of stands over the years, and these are by far the best designed ones. For the price you pay, the quality, stability and well thought through design is outstanding. The legs fold into a flat structure, and each stand hooks into the next, so they are stable and free standing when folded. And when you use them, they are completely reliable from a stability standpoint. The legs lock using a strong metal screw, and the tolerances from an engineering standpoint are very well executed. Almost no slack in the fully extended tubes. Can't recommend this enough.

Perfect
It perfectly does its job.
It is so stable that I am able to use it as a main Mic system for my recording.
But it is not as light as I expected for an aluminum stand.
But I believe, for the purpose of the main mic, it implies its stability.

Decent stand
I use this for holding a boom pole. It’s got one leg slightly longer than the others which you want to face forward. It obviously needs a weight on it. I use a kitbag, cable tied to the handy little hole at the base. It folds up nice and flat, but rattles around a bit when moving. Quick to open with a little easy twist screw and the legs spread evenly together. I have had trapped air in the top segment and it took extreme force to close it, but it escaped eventually. Very light and strong.

My go-to main mic stand
My favourite stand for a quick main pair microphone job. Very light (and thus slightly instable with heavier or more than 2 microphones and cables), but so very practical. Quick setup and high enough for most jobs. I have three of these -- one has a very good pneumatic system that lowers the stand slowly by itself, the other two (= the newer two) go down without 'delay', so be careful for your microphones.

Manfrotto Tall Light Stand
I bought this for use in my photography studio. A very strong light stand. Extends to 3.66m and is very stable, even with a head and softbox. These stands fold into a flat shape and clip together with other stands making them easy to store and transport. Strong enough to use with a boom.
Recommended for use in the studio, on a location set and when extra height is needed. Impressive quality build.

A great design.
This is the second pair of these stands that I have bought and just love the design of them. They are solidly built, stable stands, the maximum height of which facilitates butting ones lights up to all but the highest of ceilings. This means that when drunks fall into your stands, (as has probably happened to all of us, on occasion), you don't have to worry about them being knocked over.

Sturdy tripod for studio work
I use elinchromes w umbrellas & softboxes with these stands. Works like a charm.
They can also be used with strobes but need an adapter for the hot shoe mount. I use Manfrotto tilthead.
Highly recommended.
