Decent set of stands
Bought these originally for performance for live gigs.
They are strong and lightweight at the same time, and for a medium set of speakers 10-12" work perfectly. I would use heavier stands for anything above that or heavy wood case speakers, but i can highly recommend these for most setups.

Damping when retracting
Compared to the immediately "lesser" Millenium model these have a self locking "button" instead of a pin. What I was not expecting was that there is a damping action when retracting the extension pole in order to prevent the extension from retracting too quickly. So even if someone accidentally pressed the safety mechanism the speaker would not come down crashing but will gently be lowered. That being said I do not over-tighten the plastic screws and UV/rust resistance remains to be seen. Overall they seem a decent pair and come with a carrying bag.

Will do the job.
Visually the stands have a lovely finish and are sturdy.. and guess what.. they are!
They could stand (haha) up to any cabinet that you put on the top of them - as long as you abide to the SWL.
Each stand has a spring-loaded pin that automatically goes into the hole when setting up, and an additional clamp that secures the pole into position.
The bag included is very thin, and gives no protection at all.. but is very useful when lugging them around.
Over-all it is not the best stand in the world, but will always do what you need it too. It will hold you speakers safely and securely!

Just buy them, no brainer
For that price, a fantastic tool for a working musician/mobile DJ

Sturdy, light and good value
These are decent stands with the expected means for adjustment of height (pegs in holes). They're great value and they support a pair of powered monitors with 15" woofers well. Long term reliability is yet to be seen and the fitments do contain a lot of plastic, so a light touch when adjusting, and care when transporting is probably wise. The bag is made from extremely light material (like a tent bag) and the zip feels a little weak. The handles are made of decent nylon strapping though.

Another pleasant Millenium surprise
I normally buy K&M branded stuff for stands and support stuff but needed a cheaper option for a small additional PA set up. As I didn't fancy spending a lot on something that wasn't going to get lots of use, I went for the Millenium set. I've had a few of their line-up a few years ago and had mixed results. Some were great, a few were broken/shoddy - I guess that's the Far-East quality control slipping. However in this case, the stands are pretty much identical to the K&M versions and a lot cheaper. They are very well made and re-assuringly slick with motion and set up. They may be cheaper materials somewhere but it certainly seems close enough for most people not to notice or care.
Yeah the bag isn't the best but it does the job and it's nice that it's included. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone with a small portable PA or some additional speakers they need stands for. Given how much cheaper they are than the big name brands, it feels slightly better taking them to gigs as if they get damaged or stolen it's not as big a spend on something dull like stands!

very good construction.
I m using this pair of speraker stands for 2 years now for many mobile dj parties and live music parties and i m very satisfied.I tried them with light weight plastic speakers and with heavy speakers also and they can hold the speakers consistently even at the highest level of the stand. They are very light weight and easy to use and they are coming to you in very usefull bag wich is helping to carry everywhere.I higly recomend this set to everyone.

Great
Great stands, stable and safe to use because of the "air-brake" in the stand that prevents it from coming down violently if the pin breaks. The automatic locking makes it easy to lift a speaker to the right height, if the speaker is not too heavy.
Only con is the carrying bag, which is flimsy and weak.

STANDS ARE PERFECT HOWEVER ..........
THE BAG THEY CAME IN WILL NOT LAST AT ALL ITS FLIMSY AND MADE OF POOR QUALITY POLYESTER LIKE A THIN TENT MATERIAL !!! THE LAST
MILLENIUM STANDS I BOUGHT TEN YEARS AGO WERE THE CHEAPER VERSION IN A VERY VERY HEAVY DUTY CANVAS BAG NOT A BAG MADE OF TENT MATERIAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE BAG OTHERWISE ALL GOOD MILLENIUM MUST HAVE CHANGED BAG SUPPLIERS WHO WERE OBVIOUSLY CHEAPER CANVAS IS FAR BETTER FOR THIS PRODUCT THAT GETS PUT AWAY SO OFTEN !!!

Good quality PA stands and relatively light and easy to handle and erect. The main drawback was after several uses the locking screw tended to strip. Thomann very kindly replaced these screws for us a couple of times. The bag that came with the stands was too flimsy and holes soon appeared and the stitching also came apart. We soon had to replace this with another bag.
