Ordered as an experiment for bad playing conditions. Sold fast.
Mark2000 31.12.2020
Ordered these for playing at parties, thinking that their price will allow one to play them sometimes with hands like any other bongo, and sometimes disrespectfully with a stick (my apologies). The metal rings sit in a position which did not sit with my anatomy and seriously hurt my hand. This is not the case with other bongos. Also, I think, the skin was on the thinner side, so the sound was so so. I sold them even cheaper to an absolute beginner who happy for the bargain and joyful he had something to toy around with to get started. Sold these, bought more expensive ones soon. All problems gone.

Distant drums
Christopher6076 20.03.2018
I am not a drummer or a Bongo player for that matter but I bought these to give it a try. The good. They look very nice, they are strongly made and they are relatively inexpensive. The bad. They are very heavy. Knowing nothing about Bongos I watched a tuition video and the first thing it showed was how to tune your Bongo drums. I followed the chaps advice and straight away the smaller drum?s skin split! Fortunately the Millenium replacement skins are quite cheap and it was simple to replace the broken one. It remains to be seen how long the new skins last. It might be nice to include a leaflet giving instructions on how to go about tuning the drums! I cannot give these drums a high rating just because of the weight of them, otherwise they are probably good.

J
A lot of Bongo for the money
Jonathan2293 05.11.2014
These Bongos cost les than £20. I don't really know how they make an instrument of this quality for the money. They are solid, well made with quality woods and they sound just fine if you crank the tuning a bit. Yes you could spend £300 on a set of bongos and they may sound a bit better. However I only have to play bongos very occasionally and with a set this inexpensive you can't really go wrong. Excellent for beginners, learner, children and also good enough to gig live.

Probably good for someone who would like to learn how to play bongo. The quality is okay and sounds good too. It's cheap.

Love them, using to practice my hands and tactile drumming at home.
Also recording them as a percussion for my projects - very satisfied!

Budget bongo set, has great quality materials, and delivers outstanding sound. I would say it's a good choice for both beginners or more seasoned players seeking value without compromising performance

Good for the price
Anonymous 14.03.2016
Bought these because I fancied a set & didn't want to spend much on them.
They seem to be well enough put together, though the finish could be better, the paint isn't great in places & the metal frames aren't the best, but to be fair, at the price I didn't expect any different.
They sound pretty good to me & as all I wanted was something to play about with, they fit the bill well.
Even with my limited experience, I know they aren't good enough quality for any sort of performance use, but to just play about with at home, they are fine. I'm happy with them.

great

This really helped me understand more about the rhythm and how to make patterns a little bit more unpredictable. They are good for training and just to lay an idea on them. I even recorded them and they sound great with some processing
