7. Vibe Pedals
The Univibe was especially developed for Jimi Hendrix and it is currently being replicated by several companies in multiple variants. This pedal has very particular sound characteristics which are far from being replicated by any of the digital simulations currently on offer. Perhaps the best way to describe the sound is a mixture between a Leslie, a phaser and a stereo chorus effect. In any case, this is really the only way this unique effect can be achieved. This effect works great for Psychedelic Blues and is prominent in the later work of Hendrix, and more often than not in the work of Robin Trower.
