One of the best buys i have ever made
Sotiris Choutos 07.06.2017
I own this desk since June 2016. I am actually sitting at it right now writing this review and i still love the feeling

PROS
1. Great looks. Makes you feel (and look i guess) like you
know what you are doing
2. Not that hard to assemble and the parts seem solid
3. The cable management metal shelf helps a lot
4. There is actually enough height between the bottom
shelf and the main surface to put even a big size
computer tower
5. If you need it for home studio use like me, i don't think
you would ever need a lot -if any- more features/space
6. Wheels are great to have. Once you have placed all
your equipment on the desk, you can then move
it around freely. Plus you can clean the floor really
easily without having to move the desk!

CONS
1. It does feel a little unstable. It shakes if you push it or
an earthquake occurs. I never had any problems
though
2. One or two stubborn screws when assembling but all
went good
3. There is not enough room on the main surface to put
a medium-to-big midi keyboard, a computer keyboard
and a mouse all together for example. But you
could add an extra keyboard drawer below the main
surface i guess)
4. My computer tower is a big/tall one and it almost
touches the main surface from below. The problem is
that the start button is on top side of the tower and i
cannot push it without a tool since there is not enough
room for my hand
5. Top shelf is not wide enough if you want to stack two
screens plus speakers or one screen and multiple
speaker pairs.

The only reason i am not putting 5 stars is the cons i mentioned. But when i searched the market back then, this desk may have been the best value for money out there and you cannot really ask for more at this price. Overall i would definitely recommend it, especially for home studios!

PD
Fantastic desk for home studio project.
Paul Davies 07.09.2014
I purchased this studio desk as the core for a home studio project. I previous used a unit from a Swedish furniture shop (you know the one), but it was clear that all my synth racks were not protected and my equipment was all over the place. When this desk arrived it was very well packed and I am very glad to say came with instructions that were so easy to follow. Despite being MDF, the build quality is so high that you would think it is real wood. The design is clever providing many features that make storing equipment easy and safe. After construction which took about 30 minutes, I started putting equipment on it. The top shelf is big enough for 2 x 22inch wide screens and a pair of KRK rokit 5 monitors. The rack is solid and can take 8 1u racks easily. It also leaves a gap to either store books\discs or place a synth workstation. The space in front of the rack area is big enough for a large synth (Roland Fantom G6 or 7) but the 88 key version would struggle as the height of the synth would obstruct the lower racks. The bottom shelf is a life saver, allowing mass storage of everything. The unit comes on rubber wheels which can be locked in place (front ones). Another point is that there is a cable shelf at the back which has drilled holes in. This means you can gather cables together and zip tie them to it and make the back of the desk very tidy. So in summary:

Pros: Well made, lots of space, enough for 8x1U racks, looks very professional, can be moved around and locked in place, great cable tidy a back.

Cons: Wheels are rubber and split in half and had to be replaced (probably due to weight on desk). Rack area is fiddly to put racks in as you have to screw them in (no quick clips). 8 racks is pretty limited and you quickly fill them up.

SM
I really like this product. Nice looking, sturdy and easy to assemble.
Sir Migs 28.12.2019
I'm using it with two 27 inch monitors (iMac 27 plus external 27" monitor) mounted on the top tier.
On the rack tier I mounted all the rack gear that I need to access all the time and need visual feedback (Audio interface, mic pre’s and patch bay). One really cool thing about it is that the designers left about 2 inches of empty space bellow the rack rails, that allowed me to fit the back of my Monitor Station wiring plus an headphone amp that are not rack mountable. On the bottom tier I was able to lay all my drives, power strips and other junk. On the main table surface I have the computer keyboard, a small midi controller, mouse pad and the Monitor station. The whole thing is extremely ergonomic. Nothing bad to say about it.

Should you buy it?
Voiceover guy 12.06.2020
Well designed and easy to assemble as one person. Instructions are very precise.

Pros: 2 x 4u racks although not much use these days for some. But if you don't need the racks, you can just not fit the bars and have extra large storage spaces instead.

Cons: Screws were all loose in the box as the packaging for them had opened, but 5 minutes sorting solved the issue. You could argue that a slide out keyboard tray would be better then you could store a music keyboard on the desk.

Summary: I use the desk every day. the monitor height is good. Space for two good sized speakers, large desk space, easy to access cabling. Would I recommeend? Yes. Good value for money.

AB
Just what I needed
Andy Byrne 12.08.2017
I found this desk really easy to put together, it's really sturdy and the 19u rack spaces are really useful. The one thing I would say is that I wouldn't place my speakers on it, I did and there is a resonance from the desk even when using iso pads, so I put my speakers back on their stands and place behind the desk. My room is 11 feet by 16 feet and this desk is a good size for my room, if your room is smaller then this desk would be too big, but if you have the room this is a great addition.

SP
This Creation Station can transform into a dream workstation!
S Paul 29.06.2022
This table is a good base for customization. I bought separately drawer plastic cabinets, in size between the top and bottom boards of the table and attached with double-sided adhesive tape. Then mount my computer monitor to the top shelf with a LCD arm for table mounting so that I could lower the monitor below the level of the shelf when sitting at the table or raise it to a height of two meters if necessary. All electrical appliances on the table connected through 10-way socket strip with switches attached to the back table part so that all electrical appliances installed on the table connected to it, and the entire table connected to only one outlet. The table is easy to move due to the wheels and the absence of a large number of outgoing cables. In the end, after all the customization for my needs, I hardly imagine a more comfortable table of this size for my needs, for which I purchased StudioRTA Creation Station.

Comfortable and high quality
Gloamingdan 26.02.2018
I use this workstation/desk in my home studio. I don't use a lot of outboard gear, so what I have fits nicely in the rack-mounting system. Overall I'm very pleased with his product, the quality is exceptional! It's easy to keep it clean and the finish is flawless. I haven't seen anything similar in this price-range. If they built furniture in similar quality and for similar prices, IKEA would go bankrupt in no time :)
It me took only about 15-20 minutes to assemble it without any help.
The cable holding/routing in the back and the blockable wheels are nice additions.
The only downside is, that it might not be big enough to keep a master keyboard on it. I have quite a big one, so I keep that on a separate keyboard stand.

I can only recommend buying it if you don't have a lot of external gear and want a nicely built workstation/desk.

N
It does the job.
NikolaosL 10.09.2016
The quality is really good. Easy to assemble better than ikea stuff. The issue is that I am 1,75m and when I have my seat in the high possition in order to work with computer programs my legs touch the wood under the desk. The wood there is sharp in the edge. Not comfy. The screen is standing higher than expected. If you dont have a screed already buy one that has an adjustable desk mount and can make the screen touch the shelf desk. If you do that I belive you will repair that issue. With my neusonik iboard4 on the desk there is little room for keyboard and mouse but I can handle it. The fact that it has wheels and everithing is on top the lower shelf makes cleaning really easy i really like that. I have the pc tower an amp a ups and there is still room for legs and more stuff. Overall it is a good desk and it looks like an actual studio equipment. I recomend it!

A small edit after 5 years of ownership. It has sustained so far 3 move outs and three different apartments. And i have no problem. If you treat it with respect it will serve you for years.

Amazing value for money, great for beginners.
Anonymous 24.04.2016
I bought this workstation back in 2009, and it served me well right up until late last year when I replaced it.

Pros: The cost is excellent, the desk is well featured and the wheels are an amazing addition sadly lacking on many far more expensive desks. There is plenty of room for either a MIDI keyboard or a mixing console & keyboard and mouse. Rack spaces are a cool plus, and the cable tray on the back is a godsend.

Cons: While very acceptable for the price, build quality is average. The desk wobbles after a week or so without tightening. I moved five or six times while I had it and it eventually showed - in particular the lining around the edges of both platforms broke off exposing the chipboard underneath. Some of the metal parts ring out at certain frequencies.

Verdict: I'd call this a great desk for somebody just starting out or with simple requirements. It's not very pretty and has its share of problems but the features are good, the value for money is insane and I can't imagine there to be too many competitive alternatives at this price.
