i don't really understand why the brands use double braced legs..
this is really strong and sturdy... and belivery i hit hard.. and many times live i literaly make my foot jump from the ground and hit this hihat pedal as hard as it can (adrenaline rush.. i know it's stupid)
don't waste your money one those "heavy duty" stands...this is more than enough and will save you a buch of money and weight.
