Small box with Huge sounds

I'm using oceans 12 by EHX on both my guitars and basses and it works perfectly even on lower frequencies.
It allows to get an extremely variety of sounds, ranging from ambient sounds to the reverbs typical of spaghetti western guitar. It's great to experiment and discover new sounds. Its functions can all be regulated through several parameters and the output is always satisfying. One can really obtain dozens of different sound through the modulation of the various effects and reverbs
The pedal dimension though makes it harder sometimes to properly read the functions: it's smaller than one could think. Also, the high intensity of the led lights makes it harder to read anything on the pedal in low light conditions, a gig for example.
Apart from that, this pedal is literally a jewel. It's value for money is certainly just.

A great product

Does what it says on the tin, and with shiny lights 16.04.2021

I bought this after a lot of searching for a dual channel reverb I could chain. Overall, the feature set on it are... well mind-blowing. I'll never use them all. It's a good unit, and it sounds great.

I'm giving it for stars because
1. They could have added a USB interface to help you dial in and save presets. There is a lot of features, and that would certainly be useful

2. When both reverb channels are on, the volume for the whole output increases. While it's not a deal breaker, it's very noticeable bug. My research has indicated that it can only be fixed in factory. Again, with point 1. it would be far better to have a USB where this could be fixed with a firmware update!

Lush and pristine reverbs

This pedal is incredible. Offering 12 studio quality reverb types, each with its own variations that can be paired and stacked together, offering truly endless possibilities.

The set up of the pedal is not fast, but also not hard. Its functions are intuitive enough, but you better set it before the gig starts and save your 24 presets, as setting it involves clicking on really small butons.

The pedal offers true stereo sound, panning through the speakers and includes a send/return IO, for adding other effects to the reverb without messing your original signal. Fuzzed reverb? Yeah, you can do it! Also, you can set this effects to be pre or post reverb, which is also really cool.

All in all, its really worth the price.

Ich benutze den Reverb für flächige Gitarrensounds. Daher hat es schonmal den ersten Punkt erfüllt - es kann Stereo!

Wenn es darum geht, ein Pedal zu entwerfen, das extrem viele Funktionen hat und ohne ein Display auskommt, dann ist es wohl dieser Reverb. Die Einstellmöglichkeiten sind gigantisch und können stark verändert werden. Dis Sounds sind Top und wenn man etwas Zeit mitbringt, lässt sich jeder gewünschte Sound einstellen.

Das Gerät besteht aus zwei Reverb Einheiten, die seriell, parallel oder R/L gesplittet angeordnet werden können.
Für alle, die mit Mono-Signalen hantieren, könnte dieser Reverb trotzdem ganz interessant sein. Das Gerät kann in einem FX-Loop Modus betrieben werden, der über die Send/Return Wege realisiert wird.

Nun zur Bedienung. Hier schwächelt das Gerät. So ist es von großen Vorteil sich die (40 Seitige!) Bedienungsanleitung zu Gemüte zu führen, da sich nicht alle Funktionen intuitiv erschließen lassen.
Ein weiteres Problem ist das zu klein und eng gedruckte Auswahlmenü auf dem Gerät, das man nicht so gut lesen kann. Und wenn dann noch der Mond scheint, das tut er im aktivierten Modus, dann gute Nacht! Die LED blendet so sehr, dass es unmöglich ist etwas zu lesen.

Fazit:
Ein sehr sehr gut klingender Stereo-Reverb mit vielen Einstellmöglichkeiten, nur die Bedienung ist nicht ganz intuitiv. Das Gerät ist für den Preis Top!
