What a combo

I got this amp around a week ago, and what an incredible amplifier it is. First of all, the features are really good. It has power soak, which is great if playing in a low volume setting. In addition, the headphones input allows you to practice completely silent. I bought the footswitch as well, which makes it totally effortless to switch between the clean/lead channel and to apply/deapply the boost.
The sounds out of this one are really good too. The clean channel is nice, however it breaks up quite quickly. This might be a drawback if you want to play clean. My humbucker guitar really broke up the clean channel quickly, however when using my single coil guitar it stayed clean easier. The lead channel gives you a real good hard rock/metal distortion, and if the boost is applied it really fattens the tone, ideal for lead playing.
All in all, a really good amp with good features. In my opinion, it is best used for rock/hard rock/metal tones, however with a different set less aggressive humbuckers than I have, it might be useful for other styles as well. I can only recommend this product, good build quality and good sounds.

Un ampli pour le rock/métal de A à Z

Ampli acquis comme matériel complémentaire pour taper du gros son. Avec un bonne Les Paul, on n'est pas déçu ! Le gain du canal saturé va du crunch léger à disto la plus démente pour le métal extrême. C'est typé rock certes, mais ça envoie dans tout le registre sans problème. Avec le booster de gain intégré, on atteint des sommets... Avec des EMG actifs pour ceux qui aiment le genre poussif, vous y trouverez votre compte. L'ampli a une config très complète comme on le voit peu. Le clean boost intégré est efficace pour se détacher en solo sans en envoyer de trop. La boucle d'effet est évidemment bienvenue. Ajoutez à ça atténuateur de puissance et hop, il y a de quoi faire en toutes circonstances. Branché dans un cab additionnel 1x12 qui permet de se faire un petit réservoir de basses loin d'être désagréable, le ENGL tient rudement bien la route. Bref, un ampli taillé pour tous les styles power. Qualité de fabrication nickel. Seul petit manque : l'EQ est commun entre le canal clair et saturé. Malgré les réglages de gain et volume indépendants, pouvoir agir de manière indépendante sur l'EQ des canaux aurait été la cerise sur le gâteau.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Allrounder für Wohnzimmer, Proberaum und Bühne und bin mit dem Engl E600 Ironball Combo fündig geworden. Im direkten Vergleich mit dem Hughes&Kettner TubeMeister 36 Combo zeigte der Ironball seine Vorzüge relativ schnell: Er überträgt jeden Ton brilliant und unverwaschen (verzeiht damit allerdings auch absolut nichts), schafft clean und böse gleichermaßen satt und voluminös (auch in den Abstufungen 1 Watt und 5 Watt) und kann in der Bedienung nicht einfacher sein.
Einziger Nachteil ist die Handhabung der Anschlüsse, bzw. Regler auf der Rückseite. Da sie nach unten zeigen, ist alles etwas fummeliger als beim TubeMeister. Allerdings sind Beschädigungen mit dieser Lösung wohl eher ausgeschlossen und das Metallgitter vor dem Lautsprecher ist in genau dieser Hinsicht wohl auch unschlagbar.

Fazit: Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung! Wer einen Alleskönner ohne Abstriche will, gönnt sich diesen tollen Verstärker.
Gespielt wird mein Engl übrigens mit einer PRS SE Santana.

Un amplificador completo

Justo con su precio y con lo que uno espera 20.05.2023

Cumple mis expectativas de lo que espero por un buen amplificador de válvulas. La fabricación de este producto tiene un buen acabado y solo con verlo sabes que va a sonar muy bien. El canal sin distorsión tiene un sonido muy limpio y, junto al reverb que viene incluido, hace que el sonido se proyecte casi sin necesidad de más efectos.
El gain boost es igual, suena fuerte pero no satura y lo sientes profundo y no como una onda plana. Cuando dejas la nota en el aire esta decae de manera natural y se siente bien al oído.
Lo único que echo en falta es que el pedal para el cambio de canales se compre por separado. Pienso que debería ir incluido.
