Decent build quality with a straight neck, good fret job and clean finish. Boxy heel joint. Muddy sound but clarity somewhat improved with 50s style wiring and good quality strings. Neck heavy. Bridge pickup significantly weedier than neck but sounds good with a Brassmaster or superfuzz. Neck pickup pretty darned monstrous but low mids can be overwhelming. I have to say that it is a well built bass with flawless finish.

Blend them together at will and you can find your own tone.

As expected it comes poorly setup from factory, intonation is way off and strings fly high above the fretboard but that is an easy fix.

Overall: Good stuff.

This bass is beautifully finished. The body is slim and the neck feels very fast and comfortable. The cherry finish is awesome and oozes vintage looks. The only downside is the headstock is way too big and with the strap button placement on the back of the body, neck dive is a big issue. Overall though a great looking, sounding and feeling bass.
