Hard case for Gibson Blues King?

Desperate to hard case my Gibson Blues King. (As you may know Gibson provide only a ghastly gig bag for this £1500 guitar?!), I took a chance at the Epiphone EL OCS hard case. The quality/look is fantastic, (and so is the price) however, it is just a little bit roomy for the Blues King (apprx 1 cm). That said, nothing a little bit of soft padding doesn't put right and the feeling that my guitar is now protected and a lot safer.

What a great find, a case taylor made to hold the guitar I had purchased. Not only styish, due to the quality of the workmanship case, it has created a real impression - the wow factors and all at such a reasonable price. Big on class low in cost.

Super Product, great service

This case is designed especially for the El-00 and it sure stacks up in every way. The guitar fits perfectly and feels indestructible in this stylish case. A perfect product which should provide a long lasting home for my guitar.
The case was packaged to provide full protection and delivered in super quick time. Top marks to Thomann for a quality product and efficient service.

Das Warten hat sich gelohnt

Erster Eindruck: Schöner Koffer. Die braune Paspelierung und der braune Griff in Kombination mit dem Tolex lassen den Koffer sehr edel aussehen (und passt wie A.... auf Eimer zum Sunburst der Gitarre). Zum Inneren. Die Farbe des Plüschs lässt sich nur schwierig beschreiben. Ist so'ne Art dunkles Grün-Grau...hmm... Sehr schick!

Die Passform: Hervorragend! She fits snuggly :-)

Die Verarbeitung: Meiner Meinung nach 4 von 5 Sternchen. Epiphone-typisch eben. Die messing-/goldfarbenen Verschlüsse schliessen einigermaßen schmatzig. Ansonsten, was die Stabilität angeht, ganz OK. Nicht wirklich bombig, aber OK. Soll heissen, nix für 'On the Road'. Zum nächsten Gig oder für den Weg in den Proberaum aber völlig ausreichend. Hand auf's Herz, es gibt billigere und stabilere Koffer. Aber hey, der hier ist Kult.

Fazit: Absolutes Muss für jeden EL-00 Besitzer. Abgesehen davon, dass dieses Schätzchen in sonst keinen anderen Koffer auch nur annähernd reinpasst. Für meine Person, ich freue mich total. Wie gesagt, das Warten hat sich gelohnt.
