Ottimo strumento

Uno strumento economico che fa il suo dovere. Bel tono, manico ben fatto e comodo, inoltre verniciatura e dettagli molto ben curati. Per 130€ cosa si può chiedere di più? Appena arrivato ho sostituito le corde, fatto un minimo di set up(Truss Rod e ottave, pelle neanche toccata) e girato il ponticello che era stato montato contrario e quando suonavano uscivano le corde. Dopo questo breve set up lo strumento suona bene e per studiare va benissimo. Consiglio a tutti quelli che vogliono approcciarsi al banjo ma non vogliono spender tanti soldi.. C'è sempre tempo per un Deering;)

Harley Benton LH Banjo - better than expected

Actually quite a well made banjo, looks good & has geared tuning pegs throughout. The supplied strings are cheap so I ditched those immediately, but that's standard for any stringed instrument I buy.

Sound quality is fine for a beginner instrument & the action and bridge suit me perfectly without having to adjust anything.
The banjo is relatively light but does project sound well.
Overall a surprisingly good instrument for the money - especially as I normally have to pay a great deal more for left handed instruments.

Great banjo for the price

I bought this cheap banjo as I just wanted to learn a few country tunes as I usually play guitar, I was very surprised by the quality of this instrument, it is well worth what I paid for it and more, I was skeptical but I was pleasantly surprised as it is the only banjo of its kind for under 500 Euro and as I only wanted a banjo for a bit of fun it was right up my alley, I am no expert in banjos as I mainly play guitar but this instrument suited me down to the ground and the sound is sweet and crisp, and it feels and looks wonderful and brought me hours of enjoyment for such a little price, don't be put off by the price

My only complaint though is I noticed there was a slight crack on the underside of the neck when I pulled it out of the box but nothing serious and it still plays fine, all in all a fantastic product for such little price, well done Harley Benton.

The build quality is good for 130? instrument, didn't notice any deficiencies. However it is a cheap instrument and doesn't sound very good. The playability is ok. For a beginner or someone just wanting to try out banjo this would be a great buy, but more serious players should definitely look at more expensive insruments!
