This is just brilliant - being able to carry a stand inside the instrument itself has made travelling around so much easier.

The only criticism I have is that because it's so light weight, sometimes when you pick the saxophone up, the stand can come with it. Recommend just putting a foot on one of the legs when removing the sax.

great for going to the studio every day

fits perfectly into my yamaha YAS-280 alto sax's bell. No gaps, no weird movements, the assembly quality is great. The nubuk is nice as it prevents scratching of the bell. Now i use it always when I'm not at home. Like it because now all my sax exquipment is in the sax case

Für den Preis ein sehr praktischer und kompakter Ständer für's Altsax. Ausschlaggebend für den Kauf war für mich die Tatsache, dass der zusammengefaltet im Schallbecher verstaut werden kann ... was auch gut funktioniert. Das Ding ist schnell aufgebaut und wieder zusammengelegt.
Einzig einen größeren Schutzbeutel gegen das Verkratzen des Bechers hätte ich mir gewünscht. Der nicht vom Beutel bedeckte Kopf des Ständers ist zwar mit samtig weichem Material bezogen, aber warum man den Beutel nicht so groß macht dass der komplette Ständer reinpasst entzieht sich meiner Kenntnis. Eigentlich sollte auch so nichts passieren.
Kurz: Ich bin zufrieden damit. Kaufempfehlung.
