Usual K&M quality - with a twist
K&M Stands are always the first choice, but this one is pretty cool...
I am using them both as free stands and as distance poles for a "Line Source/Point array" style tops. The tops are not centrally weighted, but the poles and baseplates still provide a sturdy base - with a bit of wobble - but it would take a lot to push them over.
The Ring Lock system is interesting, and I think works better for a speaker with a recess in the bottom. But... The mechanism is excellent, and will support the weight of a front loaded speaker, without having to use the speakers locking screw... Very Impressive.
