Le ance vanno inserite nelle apposite fessure, il problema è che a seconda delle marche le ance hanno spessori leggermente diversi e la maggior parte delle ance che ho provato (incluse Vandoren, Legere European Cut... ) quando arrivano a fine corsa non è sufficiente a farle stare nella scatola e quindi non si chiude. Inoltre le fessure hanno evidentemente dimensioni leggermente diverse, quindi la stessa ancia in alcuni fori ci sta e in altri rimane troppo fuori. Se i fori fossero più accurati e con le dimensioni giuste sarebbe perfetta... peccato.

This reed case does exactly what it says on the tin. It carries 12 reeds safely. Each reed segment is numbered from 1-12 and the catch to open/close the case is secure. Although it is secure, it is also easy to open which is reassuring, especially in comparison to other cases I have tried for example the Rico case which I found impossible to open!
I don't know how well it would stand up if it was stepped on, for example, however it is not meant to be indestructible so I do not see this as a significant problem.

If you want a simple reed case then this is the case for you.

excellent reed case

I bought this case on the recommendation of Legere reeds (following my query to them). Unfortunately, it does not really hold well the thinner Legere reeds but it works just fine with all my other reeds and with the Legere Quebec cut reeds (which are a little thicker).
It holds 6 reeds each side. So it holds a selection for each of the different mouthpieces I use.

although there are 12 places for each reed, it is not able to close if it's full unless you damage your reeds ny pushing them a little more inside
