Corde quasi arrugginite

Premettendo che ho sempre usato delle Rotosound R10 per una delle mie Fender Telecaster e con cui mi sono sempre trovato bene, non sono per niente convinto di queste corde. Oltre che già all'apertura le corde avevano qualche piccola macchia nera, fin da subito non tenevano per niente l'accordatura. Inoltre il primo Mi cantino è saltato dopo tre giorni, il secondo dopo due.
Per scrivere questa recensione ho ovviamente testato altre corde sulla mia chitarra, per capire se il problema era della muta di corde o dello strumento. Utilizzando corde dal valore economico molto inferiore (a buon intenditore poche parole) la chitarra tiene egregiamente accordatura e suono anche se suonata aggressivamente.
Non mi sento di non consigliarle, può darsi che proprio la mia muta è stata confezionata male o altro, fatto sta che personalmente sono insoddisfatto dell'acquisto.

Great strings, great price

Way back when, in the 1970's when I first started to play guitar, Rotosound were THE string to use. All the pros used them, so they were like an aspiration purchase. (I remember Mike Rutherford of Genesis used Rotosound strings on all his guitars and advertised as such)

The strings are still great and have a lovely ring to them and sustain. I use them on my Strat and they suit the guitar fine. I've NEVER had a breakage using them live or in rehearsal and so find them very reliable, and that matters if you play out a lot!

So, therefore not only do they sound great, I have great confidence in their durability and longevity. The free top string is a bonus if you are a hard hitter and snap them, but I've never had one snap!

All in all they are great and I would recommend anyone to get a set and use them, I can promise you will be surprised by the quality and question why you hadn't used them before.

I started my relationship with Rotosounds back in the early 80's. Like a colleague here pointed out already, Rotosound were THE string to use at the time. And there is a very good reason for that, one reason that lives on even today.

Sound great, always fresh, ample choices, last long and are -overall- dependable and effective. In addition, there is an EXCEPTIONAL differentiation/competitive advantage between Rotosound and any other brand: the extra first string. Without being more expensive, Rotosound offers high quality strings + peace of mind: UNBEATABLE!
