Hi-Hat Cymbals

SABIAN AA cymbal are made of 80% copper and 20% tin. By rolling out the blanks in up to 8 different directions, the cymbal gets a very high flexibility. The top and arch are pressed into the flat, round blank with a press. Subsequently, the cymbal is mechanically hammered and turned by hand. This gives each cymbal its individual sound qualities.

Excellent Hi-hat cymbals for many styles of music

I?ve been using 14" AA Rock Hi-hats for a few years now and they are one of the most versatile hi-hat cymbals i?ve owned.
Great for rock music and other genres as well, this is my nr. 1 go to hi-hat cymbals for every music style.

Die Hats waren mir schon öfter bei der Legende Chester Thompson aufgefallen. Die sind zwar recht dick, haben aber trotzdem einen guten Ton bei geschlossenem Zustand. Leicht geöffnet geben sie einen guten Groovesound ab und geöffnet haben sie einen sauberen ton. Sie klingen allerdings etwas stark nach Metall, mich persönlich stört das nicht.

Wie man auch bei Chester Thompsons Videos, Tracks, etc. hört, ist die HiHat verhältnismäßig neutral und einsetzbar in fast allen Musikrichtungen. Typisch gute Sabian-Qualität spricht einfach für sich. Die Investition lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.
