Comodo il rim, tono malleabile a seconda delle necessità, articolazione precisa e affidabile, anche per chi non ha un'imboccatura potente come la mia. Flusso dell'aria liberissimo e acuti precisi

I've recently switched from playing solo cornet to soprano cornet in a Championship Section british bras band, and needed a mouthpiece a little shallower than the Wick Heritage S to have stamina and power in the upper register. As a warbing to other Soprano players, this mouthpiece is insanely shallow. It makes the extreme upper register far easier, but the sound quality and power in the lower and middle registers is vastly reduced. The mouthpiece is very comfortable to play on, but due to its depth (or lack thereof!) it becomes very hard work to even produce a sound. I have since switched from the 14a4x to a slightly deeper mouthpiece in order to get the ease of upper register, without losing as much of the sound.

Si vous cherchez une embouchure polyvalente sur tout le registre et toutes les nuances c'est l'embouchure qu'il vous faut, avec le confort des bords arrondis en prime. Comme le dit Schilke lui-même, elle est idéale pour cornet soprano dans un brass band. Facile dans les aigus elle devient une embouchure lead pour ceux qui aiment à jouer dans ce registre tout en gardant leur endurance. Tout ceci est mon avis personnel et variera selon chaque personne mais ce qui est sur c'est que cette embouchure est d'excellente facture. N’hésitez pas ;)

Ich benutze das Mundstück sowohl auf meiner Schilke Piccolo als auch auf meiner großen B-Trompete bei der Brass Band Knallblech (da mit Adapter von Cornet auf Trompete). Das Mundstück macht das Spielen auf der Piccolo zu einer Großen Freude. Toller Brillanter aber nicht dünner Sound! Durch den flachen Kessel wird es dem Spieler auch für die ganz hohen Töne einfach gemacht.
Auf der B-Trompete kommt man ebenfalls auch am Ende von langen Konzerten mühelos in das obere Register. Dabei wird der Sound niemals schrill oder quietschig.
