These are fantastic value for money and Thomann somehow manage to sell them way cheaper than anybody else. Great for 50m of CAT5/6/7. The Telegartner 50m CAT6A / CAT7 patch leads on here fit perfectly and make a very durable and cost effective shielded CAT6A/7 setup for digital desks, HDBaseT, Ethernet, etc.

Gute Kabeltrommel, vorbereitet für Einbau von Buchsen

Ich habe mir in diese Trommel eine Neutrik XLR Buchse eingebaut und einen Kabelschwanz mit XLR-Kupplung nach innen geführt. So kann ich jetzt das aufgewickelte 2x20m Kabel für mein Messmikrofon ja nach Bedarf nur teilweise abwickeln und dann die Steckdose an der Trommel am RTA / Mischpult anschliessen, ohne das der Rest vom langen Kabel am Boden herumliegt.
Ich habe eine Weile überlegt wie man am besten das grosse Loch für die Buchse in den harten Kunststoff bekommt, es ging dann ganz gut mit einem Stufenbohrer. Die Schraubenlöchen und Aussparungen habe ich mit einem Dremel gebohrt / gefräst. Beim Fräsen muß man aufpassen das der Kunststoff nicht schmilzt.
Innen in der Trommel gibt es eine ordentliche Kabeldurchführung mitsamt Gummitülle und Zugentlastung, so daß letztendlich alles schön stabil geworden ist.
Wer sich eine 'custom shop' Kabeltrommel basteln möchte, liegt mit dieser hier richtig. 40m Mikrofonkabel passen locker drauf, wahrscheinlich noch etwas mehr.
