The Seymour Duncan Custom Custom (yes, that's the name!) Humbucker with Alnico II magnet is characterized by particularly warm and smooth highs. Even the middle range is clearly pronounced, the bass is strong but without being mushed. Ich habe (und das kann ich mit Bestimmtheit so sagen...) bisher alle Seymour Duncan HB's in irgendwelkchen meiner Gitarren getestet, wieder ausgebaut und durch andere Seymour Duncan's ersetzt. So auch in meiner PRS Custom 24, in der ich nun schließlich (und das bleibt so, bis ich die Augen zumache...) am Hals einen Alnico II Pro und am Steg den SH 11 Custom Custom eingebaut habe. Ich bekomme nun wirklich alles mit diesen beiden hin bis auf ein paar ganz spezielle Sachen, aber dafür hab ich dann noch meine Tele mit einen SAPTR-1 am Hals und einen Pearly Gates am Steg.....

Der SH 11 macht so einen Dampf, wie es nur irgend geht, bleibt aber irgendwie.... so airy, sag ich immer: durchsichtig, man hört die Nuancen der Gitarre bestens raus. Auch SC Sounds (gesplittet) kommen so richtig smoke-on-the-water-mäßig, daß man wirklich kaum einen Unterschied hört.

Mein Fazit: ein absoluter Geheimtip!

Super micro!!!

Micro de très bonne qualité, un son super pour du Van Halen, manque un peu de grave pour des saturations un peu plus poussées mais réagit très bien à l'attaque et à la gratte, je recommande! (Petit bemol sur la visserie)
