For the price you have a very guy here, in that the sound is full-bodied on the attack and very soft on the release. It's an octave and an half (without black notes, two extra sharp notes ar included though).
If you hit the bars quite hard the sound is very strong but remains clear for the whole note's life. The base is wood made, that is very important to achieve a good sound.
I absolutely recommend this guy, for this price you won't find a more full-bodied sound.
