Ho preso quello da 60 cm su consiglio di un'amica che ne ha uno più piccolo, ha un bel suono profondo, potente e avvolgente.

I own 3 different shaman drums and this is for sure the best one.
The sound is really rich and deep, like the vibrations it produces. When I hit it the gongs start to vibrate too!
It's really traditionally handmade, so produces different sounds depending on the place you hit, as the octagonal shape makes it more "live" too.
The drum is still light enough to keep it in your hand ad play for long time.
The supplied mallet is makes his job.
Really well advisable.
I really like it and I am very happy to have spent some more compared to the smaller ones.

Um die Mitte rum hat die Trommel einen recht schön bassigen Sound. Das ist angenehm, aber ich denke kleiner dürfte das Instrument nicht sein, sonst ist der gewünschte Tranceeffekt des Klangs nicht mehr aussreichend gegeben. Von der Mitte bis zum Rand lassen sich gut drei klar voneinander unterscheidende Tonhöhen spielen, womit sich im Spiel einige Akzente setzen lassen.

Die Verarbeitung ist wohl soweit in Ordnung. Das Fell schön straff und gleichmässig gespannt. Ein Wehrmutstropfen ist jedoch, dass im Griffkreuz auf der Rückseite des Instruments 2 Verschnürungen der Trommelfelllederstreifen einen leisen rasselnden Klang erzeugen. Das ist eigentlich nur für den Spieler selbst wahrnehmbar, aber für den ist es eben wahrnehmbar ;-) und zwar ein wenig störend. Wenn man einen schmalen Stoffstreifen straff drumwickelt, hat sich das erledigt. (Um das Leder nicht um den Spieler! muhahaha)

Aber eins muss ich doch ganz klar herraus stellen:
Wenn Ihr mit der Trommel das klassische DAM damdamdam DAM damdamdam spielt und dazu schön HEYhaheyha HEYhaheyha macht, vereinen sich in Euch nach spätestens 10 Minuten Himmel und Erde.

Also in diesem Sinne: HEYhaheyha :D
