Doen wat ze moeten doen. Ik houd niet echt van rods, maar wil je wel laten weten dat deze WEL lang meegaan, in tegenstelling tot alle houten rods, zelfs de duurste van meer dan ¤30 bij concurrenten

A bit plasticky sounding, but it can take a beating, doesn't chip as easily on cymbals as other wood ones. A wood unplugged stick would also be warmer sounding, but those would have broken on me a long time ago. I have this one for nearly a year now. So far, so good.

Heavy Rods!

These are solid rods very similar to Flix and other brands but with metal type grips, I use them on an acoustic kit behind a shield and they pack plenty of punch. The bounce back is good and I also use them on my converted acoustic e-kit at home with mesh heads, again they do the job nicely.

These sticks are a lot better than the lighter ones but they still do not hold up to Aheads promise of being the best. They feel sluggish and don't take much abuse before starting to fall apart. I know they are not made for heavy hitting but even light playing makes them fall apart.
